I had a warped plate and thought I should just call it and get a new printer, but this did the trick. Very easy to install and working great.

It's been a fight for the 7 years I've had this printer. The glass bed was so bad.Warped, lost heat, etc.Spend the money.Do it.Trust me.It's such an awesome upgrade for how cheap it is. I have done everything I can to this printer to get it to print well and nothing has worked until now.I literally just had to take the glass off, remove the screws that held the glass clips on, clean the aluminum plate, carefully align and stick the magnet and boom. Done. The nitty gritty:It's just not quite large enough for the crx aluminum bed, BUT, it actually is quite beneficial as the ledge(see photo) that this creates is a nice little purge gutter for print starts. It's accidentally perfect. The magnet holds the plate very firmly. I was a little surprised at the strength of the sticker. It is still easy to remove and reapply. Takes seconds.I have been using the textured side with Elegoo black pla as I really like it as a surface finish. If you made it this far without scrolling, I really can't do justice to how much this has changed my printer. I was going to just replace it, now I'm about to be buying tons of filament.TL:DRBest possible upgrade from glass.Buy it, it's amazing and quite foolproof.

Enjoy!

I have been having constant adhesion problems. I have used Blue tape but print was difficult to remove item from print bed. The magnetic attraction to the plate holds the plate perfectly. The magnetic sheet is self adhering with adhesive to the OEM glass build plate. You need to re-level the bed again after installing the magnetic sheet and the metal build plate. Once this is accomplished, the metal build pulls off with ease, and can be bent slightly to remove the print. The included metal build plate has a textured surface on one side, and a smooth surface on the other. both surfaces work well.So glad I got this.

Bought the 310x310 for an Artillery3D Sidewinder-X2. I was having endless bed adhesion problems with the glass bed. Especially near the mounting bolts of the glass bed, this was causing prints to warp and release from the bed. This appears to be a common problem with this printer. After some research I decided to try this PEI build plate. I thoroughly cleaned the glass plate with dish soap and 99% Iso Alcohol before installing the magnetic base. The magnetic base was easy to install by pealing back the backing along one end, lining it up to the glass bed, and slowly releasing the backing while using a card to push out any air pockets.I do run the bed 5° hotter than recommended for the first layer and don’t run the fan for the first 3 layers (while using PLA)I do prefer the look of the texture on my prints, so I rarely use the smooth side and can't really comment on that side. Removing prints is very simple now that the plate can be removed and bent to “pop” the prints off once cooled.

I haven't really tried the "rough" side, but the smooth side has been phenomenal for print adhesion. It came with the sticky magnetic layer that sticks to the bed, and a double sided sheet. The smooth side seems like it might scratch easily, but no complaints so far.

This was one of the best upgrades for my Monoprice Maker Select (Wanhao i3). Prints stick very well to this. Before I got this, I had been peeling off prints with a knife off the build plate. The first time I pulled this product off the build plate, bent it a little, the pieces just.... Fell off. I literally laughed in joy and ran out to show my wife (who absolutely did not care) so here I am to share my joy with you.I've used it for about 2 days of print time now, and still love it. I usually do not write reviews but I hope this helps someone else. Tip- if you have a Monoprice Maker, just cut the corners off the magnetic part that adheres to the build plate. The top part sticks over the corner bolts perfectly.

This is an absolute PERFECT replacement for the PEI bed that came with the Ender 3 S1 Pro. It fits perfectly and is magnetic like the original. There are 4 differences between this and the original. 1. This one has a single wide "centre tab" at the front for you to use to remove the bed, whereas the original one has two smaller tabs on the front, one on the left, and one on the right, for removal of the bed. 2. The laser etched logo on the face of the bed is different than the original (obviously) with neither logo affecting the bed or prints in any way. 3. The textured surface of this bed is just SLIGHTLY more rough than the stock Ender PEI bed. In the attached photo I have the same item printed. The left one was printed on the stock Ender PEI bed, on the right it was printed on this bed. Disregard the "shine" on the one on the right as the left was was in PLA and the right was printed in PTEG which has a natural "shine" due to it being PTEG. But notice the texture instead. This one has a slightly coarser finish to it compared to the original Ender bed which is slightly less coarse. I didn't even notice actually until I compared the two, and honestly both provide an absolute uniform and clean surface. Both beds provide a nice uniform and consistent look and feel. And 4. This one is almost half the price!! I would highly recommend this bed if you need to replace your stock one because your spouse destroyed your original bed by carving some nice deep lines in it with an improperly set Z-offest. Having been using it almost 24/7 for the past 5 weeks and not a single problem or issue! Buy this with confidence!

After years of fiddling about with glue, tape & other adhesive products to keep my prints affixed to the bed, I "took the plunge" and decided to get a PEI-coated, spring steel sheet. And I'll tell you that I couldn't be happier. Was super easy to install and really keeps my prints affixed to the bed until the print is finished and everything cools down. Once cool, I can simply lift the printed piece and it comes right off.The only "prep work" that I need to perform prior to starting a print is to apply a small amount of IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) and wipe the PEI sheet.Should have updated to PEI a few years back... would have made my 3D printing life much easier. :)
