Hinged design with just one bolt to tighten, fits under all but the lowest of optics setups with no removal of your scope necessary. Sensitive level vial that isn’t so large and sensitive as to be obtrusive beyond the optic or distracting while focusing for a shot. Level vial is located to sit just beyond windage and focus knobs, or can be placed on the bottom side of the scope tube if desired. We like the Kahles 624i a lot and placed the vial where it is just visible with your non-dominant eye while behind the scope. Level doesn’t stick out beyond windage/focus knobs and reduces snagging. Open top lets in the maximum amount of light, while still offering substantial protection to the level vial. Milled from billet 6061 Aluminum with a Type III Hardcoat Anodization. Sizing: Ensure you choose the right size for your scope level. Comes in 30mm, 34mm, 35mm, and 36mm.

Extremely easy install! I had previously leveled the scope, so simply used a small bubble level on top of the turret to ensure the level was in line with the scope.Visible with off eye while viewing scope, though possibly less prominently than my father in law's old Vortex (which is bulkier). Mounted on a 34mm tube with low rings over a rail with zero difficulty.The really neat trick is that the two pieces separate with a horizontal pin that holds them together... so you can slide the absolute thinnest part of the level underneath the scope tube, re-set the pin, and tighten the single screw down to 10 inch pounds.The level is quite precise, nicely machined, and SO stupid easy to set up. The fit is snug and true, and though this is a bit more than some competitors, it feels very solidly built and represents a good value. The bubble is small enough to give an accurate level and it is very easy to see because of the prominent bright silver pin on the top.

So far I really like this scope level. It is very low profile compared to other brands I've used, but very easy to see. I do wish the torque specs were included in the package, as opposed to going on line to get them, but that is a minor inconvenience. Overall it seems to be a quality piece of equipment.
