I bought a used older drill press and the spring inside the plunge arm controller ended up breaking soon after I got it. This spring fit perfectly as a replacement and I had no issues getting it installed.

This spring works great. Very good product. I would tell anyone that products like this are not for the amateur. If you are replacing a coil spring, then I'd expect you have a functioning shop where you have a rubber mallet, needle-nose pliers, and other tools. Make sure you watch some videos explaining how these springs are measured; they are as confounding as ordering chains for a chain saw. But that is not the manufacturer's fault - that is just reality.

1. Service - outstanding. I ordered it Saturday 11:00 pm, Sunday evening envelope was by my doors.2. Fits my Skill drill press model 3320. (44 x 6mm).3. I thinking to buy one extra (just in case it will be no longer available). There is a problem to get original one from Skil.
