A cotter pin secures two items with the use of a common hole. Place the cotter pin in the hole, the bulbous head will stop the pin from moving all the way through. Then bend the open tips to secure them in place. Depending on the application, various sizes and finishes are available.
Feature:

Disappointed with Incorrect Sizing and Misleading ToleranceI ordered a 2mm cotter pin set, but what I received measured only 1.33mm in diameter—far smaller than expected. When I reached out to customer service, I was told that the tolerance allows for a -0.7mm variance, meaning this size is considered "within spec." However, this is extremely misleading, as a product labeled 2mm should function as a 2mm pin, not something significantly smaller.This discrepancy makes the pins unsuitable for my intended use, and the closest alternative offered was only 1.5mm, which still does not meet the original order requirements. If you're looking for true 2mm cotter pins, I would not recommend this product.Don't buy
