The levels I have are very old and very cheap! I wanted to get a set of levels that had a little more quality. The VEVOR 4-Piece Torpedo Level set is a nice set of levels. I need a longer level for some things. The 48 inch level is a perfect size. Now when I have a job I have the perfect size level for the job. In the past I was trying to use smaller levels for big jobs.That is also nice about the VEVOR 4-Piece Torpedo Level set is the carrying case that keeps them all together, protected and clean. The bright orange case makes it easy to spot quickly in the garage. One thing to be careful of when opening the deliver box is using a knife. I did not think I had pressed very hard when cutting the long side of the packing tape. I cut through the orange carrying case about 4 inches. It still works perfectly but I hate damaging something before I get to use it!These levels all seem very accurate and well built. I look forward to using these for years to come.

The longest one is one I’ve been needing for quite a while, and I've had to make do with a long chunk of angle aluminum with a small level on it which was then hard to see.This longer one is more accurate for that use as well.).I checked all of them against a "known flat" granite counter top, and against a digital angle gauge (that usually is used setting saws). They all agreed, and I’ve found NO discrepancies.The bubble containers are WELL protected with side windows and then are inside clear square heavy duty plastic that seems pretty shock resistant as well.(No more setting a level down and having it fall off or hit something to break a level, which has turned a former level into a “straight edge”.)The bottom of the levels have machined aluminum “flatness”.The ends are rubber(?) and are slightly recessed so they can’t interfere with the flat side. Well thought out.The two longer ones have two wide openings for hands and is the perfect size for my larger hands.All 3 of those have both US and Metric ruler markings on one side or the other. A VERY nice helpful touch.The smallest one is different, has two bubbles, and is not a flat top.It’s made of aluminum and it has 2 slightly recessed round/flat magnets on the bottom just strong enough to hold it on a vertical iron containing surface. (weaker than I thought they would be especially since they must be recessed)It had no problem holding on upside down to the bottom of a thin angle iron edge, or a thin metal shelf.It only has one bubble for Horiz and for Vert. (It does have a hanging hole)The carry bag is thin, so be more careful when putting a level back into it. It holds all 4 levels very well with Velcro flaps to keep them from falling out.I like that the custom container is Orange, so when I’ve placed something in front of it, I’ll be able to spot it more easily!The container has a strap on the back, but it wasn’t quite long enough for me to put over my shoulder on my back while carrying other things. (but I’ve never seen any other levels with a custom carry bag.).It’s nice to grab one thing to take instead of juggling 4 levels.--------------------DISLIKE:The custom bag material was a bit light weight but is working.No other issues found.

My spouse has a lot of tools, but for some reason, I can never find what I need when I need it. I decided that it's time for me to collect my own set of tools that I can locate as needed.These levels are a great addition to my collection. There are 4 different sizes of level. It's great to not have to use a giant one when I only need a small one, but to have a giant one available for when I need one of those. They also have markings, so I can use it for measuring while I level, which is a plus. The markings and bubble are all easy to read, and visually, it seems like it's correct. I also love that it has 3 different level angles...really makes my life easier.The magnet on the one magnetic level is a good strength. It sticks to my fridge but I can pull it off easily.My favorite part has to be the carrying bag with strap. . My spouse immediately picked it up, put it over his shoulder, and said "this would be great for taking on the job." I said absolutely not; these are MY levels.Based on the cost of a good quality level in a hardware store, this set of 4 with carrying bag is a great value.

I ordered this level set to use in my everyday home improvement and general projects. The level set came nicely packaged and included a very complete set from the small magnetic level a slightly larger level a range level and then a full length level along with an included nylon storage bag with shoulder strap and carrying handle.The bubbles in the levels along with all of the marking seem to be well designed and well manufactured as they were easy to read and nicely protected. The smallest of the levels was designed with magnetic capabilities that would allow you to use this on any steel or ferrous type surface. The magnet strength of the small level was not that strong as it was simply a couple of small rare earth magnets that were inserted in what looked like 3/8 inch countersunk holes on the bottom surface of that level. Some other levels that I have in my workshop either have a full magnetic surface or a larger number of magnets than just two that were included in this small level. I found the level easily dislodged from the surface if bumped because the magnet strength was minimal.The 18 inch level had a couple of blemishes in the plain surface of the metal portion (see picture above) of the level and I had to smooth those out to make sure I was getting a flat surface with that level in relation to the surface that I was measuring.Both the mid length level and the longest or full length level seem to have fairly level surfaces and the bubble measures all seem to be well placed and well protected. I did notice that all of the windows that protect the bubble levels were plastic and I'm uncertain how well that plastic will wear or resist scratches during day-to-day use or on the job site. I was also a little disappointed that the angled bubble levels seem to be permanently set at the 45° mark we're not adjustable and did not have any angle marking whatsoever unlike some of the other levels in my collection. This means the level either measures 90°,180° or some version of 45°.Overall and for the price this is a nice level kit and I like the fact that it included carry case setup with Velcro enclosures and shoulder handle strap to carry everything. The levels are nice and sturdy feeling but at the same time nice and light. The magnetic edge on the torpedo level is always useful. The edges are square rather than having a bevel which makes it nice to trace a line along the side. Another nice feature is the 4 foot, 3 foot, and 16 inch levels have a ruler engraved on the edge, that comes in handy. Only complaint is a low quality of the case.

Straight, seems study, and works well so far. Magnet is not particularly strong but helpful when required.
