The pack listed on Amazon states there are 30 chews but only has 15. This makes this product very expensive. My dog does love them.

Excellent delivery thank you Prime; a tad pricey for a dog chew, but worth it to maintain his excellent choppers.

My pet loves these dental chews. I can purchase them trough my vet so Amazon is not my only choice of a supplier. I talked to an Amazon Rep on the phone and sent her an email with the pictures of the product I received. The bag itself says 15 pieces. The Amazon sticker on the back of the package says 30 pieces, which is false. Basically I was ripped off for 15 pieces. They are not cheap. What are you going to do to compensate this error?

I will do just about anything to keep my two dogs teeth clean. They don’t do super well with dog foods that force them to crunch as they tend to just swallow big chunks whole. Have tried water additives but they caused bladder infections due to changing the Ph of their urine. So, we do the almost bi-annual vet cleanings - which I hate doing to them and not just due to the exorbitant cost. So, I have been in a kick of brushing their their teeth every weekend with the CET poultry flavor toothpaste (I know, disgusting, huh?). The dogs LOVE the taste of the toothpaste. I also have been using a Naturel Promise Gel and a new Breath Spray that seem to be really helping - just don’t order from Amazon as they are having an issue with packing it loose and it leaks all over. I supplement them during the week with these CET chews and their teeth are staying cleaner and their breath is almost 100% better. It’s a pain, yes, but we love our dogs and it’s worth it to me to spend the time to prevent the veterinary cleanings if possible. Like our vet says, brushing is the best way that veterinarians know to help out our canine friends. So, four stars b/c chews alone won’t do much.

CiCi loves the veggiedent dental chews! I’ll give her one treat after her meal and then she’ll follow me around ALL DAY asking for more! Here’s why these dental treats are great--They help CiCi have fresh breath and also act as tartar control. I noticed a large difference after the first month.-CiCi has a sensitive stomach and these treats have not caused any problems-CiCi is a little thicker and these low calorie treats ensure she doesn’t add on any additional weight-I’ve tried the other dental dog treat brands and have not seen the same results as I have with Veggiedent. While the packaging isn’t as flashy, the product is superior compared to the other options.I recommend giving one to your pup right after their meal. The most I’ll give CiCi is two a day. Make sure you watch them eat it because your dog will have to chew the VeggieDent stick for best results. Swallowing it whole will not help clean their teeth obviously.Try them out yourself!

When I realized my 13 year old schnoodle's stinky smell was coming from his mouth I wasn't sure what I was going to do. He never was really fond of chewing on any type of dental chews. He would hide them around the house instead of chewing on them. Before I rushed to vet I decided to see what was offered on line for small dogs and their teeth. I read a lot of reviews before deciding on this product. Only negative comment was that the price had gone up. Every penny was worth it. My dog has decided to actually chew them. After only chewing them 3 times his teeth are improving. The black that was on his teeth is almost gone and the smell has gotten much better. I purchased the small size. I cut them in half which doubles the times I treat my dogs teeth and so happy I saved a lot of money at vet. Wished I had taken a before picture to post the huge difference. Signed Lance's owner.

I have been giving these to my chihuahua for years - in conjunction with daily toothbrushing, they seem to be doing the trick. I've been reading some of the other reviews of them, and wanted to offer my tips for using them.First, these are too large for very small dogs - when we started using these, they were the smallest available, so I got into the habit of cutting them down to the appropriate size - I still do so, even though they now make a petite version because it's much cheaper. So every four months I buy a bag and cut each chew once across the length and once across the width - they are then the perfect size for my 4 lb. chi. Sometimes they're difficult to cut, so if you warm them very slightly in the microwave first, it makes it much easier to do. I usually warm them in batches on the very lowest setting (10 or 20% of max power) and make sure they are completely cool before I put them back in the bag.Second, there are times when they are stale or slightly dried out and are much too hard for my dog to comfortably chew. This seems to be happening more with the new packaging - IDK. Anyway, my solution has been to store them with a brown sugar bear . It works really well to soften them up and make sure that they're pliable enough for my dog to eat. As soon as I get a new bag, I open them up to see if they're soft enough and if not, soak a brown sugar bear, pop it in there and leave it for a day or two. It works great! I was worried that it might make the chews wet, or slimy - not at all, it just softens them up and makes them ready to eat.I've been using these for years, and in combination with a daily toothbrushing, we've been able to cut down on the number of times my little monster has had to get a full cleaning (and the necessary anesthesia) from the vet. I'm pretty pleased.

J'ai une mini Yorkshire, c'est le seul lamelle à mâcher qu'elle aime vraiment. Je recommande ce produit à tous, spécialement pour les petits chiens.
