This is a great stand for a guitar, I keep an acoustic on it. It holds it well, without any ways to ding it up. It is very simple to assemble and is fairly sturdy. I prefer this type of stand, hanging by the headstock, over the ones that rest via the body. This stand is great, as it looks nice but also doesn't require mounting into a wall.
