Since it's made to install on the outside, I'm not sure why they use regular steel screws that'll rust. Should have come with stainless screws or something that'd deal with rust better.The port itself, wire, etc, are all great for the price otherwise.

Da es heutzutage nicht mehr mit bloßem Auge möglich ist festzustellen ob es sich bei dem Kabelmaterial um Kupfer, Aluminium oder kupfer-kaschiertes Aluminium etc. handelt, habe ich die Dichte des Materials bestimmt und festgestellt dass es sich tatsächlich um Kupfer handelt. In diesem Bereich vergebe ich schon mal volle Punktzahl. Wie gut die Stecker sich im Alltag behaupten können wird sich in Zukunft zeigen.

These are super easy to install, and work very well, but I would not call them waterproof while you're using them. Yes, they come with a cap that does make them waterproof, but while the cap is off, they are not. Also, the fitting is a little loose. All I did to fix that was take a little bit of electrical tape around the plug, then it's stayed solid inside the receiver. Maybe if there were some elastic or something, they would be perfect. But, very glad that I got these, and will continue to get these. I use these on my kayak as you can see for the four wires coming from the trolling motor.
