We are building a 48 foot fiberglass sailboat and decided to add to more windows to the design. These seem durable and well designed, aside from a little imperfection in the molding process, but it is so minor it is not really noticeable. The fit is as listed, and installation is simple.

I love that this window can be opened and closed easily from the outside if needed to reach into a cat shelter to feed/water the cat. Our neighborhood stray cat needed a window in its cat shelter to look outside when the weather is bad or to look for predators. This window fits that cats' need perfectly. The window itself is very sturdy high quality. Am so happy with this product.! Highly recommend!

I installed it for extra ventilation in the rear cabin of my boat. It went in without a hitch, I used the outside flange as a template to mark the hole, Cut just outside the line with a jigsaw which cut the fibreglass plywood and the carpet that was on the inside all at the same time. Slid it into place and it fit perfectly. Seems to be very good quality. The only negative thing that I can see is that there’s no screen for when it’s open. For the people complaining about the holes and the flange is not lining up, they’re not meant to it’s deliberate. It would be almost impossible to drill through from one side through roughly an inch of material and perfectly aligned with the flange on the inside and that would result in you having to have nuts on one side or the other all around the window. Installation is easy just use screws from each side.

Bought this to add a new storage compartment to my sit-on-top kayak. It worked perfectly. It is much better than any of the kayak storage hatches I have seen on Amazon. I used well nuts to install this on the flat part at the back of the kayak and heavily caulked around the opening before tightening everything down. Now I have awesome storage space with a good size opening and I can see what is in there. Took it out for an overnight trip on the Suwanee River immediately after installation and have also left it out in the rain a number of times. No leaks at all. Although this adds about 4 lbs. to the kayak, it looks really cool and works just great! Best part is the window opens with full clearance to allow complete access to the space.
