Getting these covers ready is easy, and takes a few seconds: just unfold and secure them with the provided spikes. Easy to fold back for storage, too. So, these are great for deploying in a hurry, like when the forecast for hail or torrential rain does come true. These are advertised as protection against animals, but the covering is not a net with full air circulation, it is a compact transparent foil reinforced with strings that form a net within the foil. The only way air can get in is around the base. So, these will overheat the covered plants if left in place in hot weather. These are temporary coverings for the worst that the weather can bring, or to protect from frosting at the end of the season. Not great as deterrent for animals, cannot keep these on in full sun or hot days.

Cons: I am concern about the plastic being durable only because I have a greenhouse similar to the plastic that now has holes in it after having it over a year. I will have to see how this holds up in the weather but other than that...it covers about two - three plants depending on what you have growing. The stakes help if from blowing over the couple times we had a little bit of winter wind. Lightweight and light protection against the cooler nights. No problem setting up. It is super easy. I haven't used them for the spring or fall but will update if I feel the need to. You do have to remove or lift it up a bit for air circulation.

Covering plants for the impending frost/freeze can be a pain. Trying to cover the plants without squishing them, securing the cover from the wind and propping the cover up , and then undoing the whole set up in the morning so the plant can get sun is tedious and annoying when it's dark and cold.Enter these foldable plant covers. Just open, place, and secure. Done. I want these in all sizes now. This 2pk will be able to cover my two raised gardens, although it only covers one garden. The other garden is larger. However, the framework of the cover will allow me to add any material, if needed to fully cover the garden without needing to prop it up with sticks or tomato cages and whatnot. They are easy to remove, fold up and set side during the day, so they plants can get the warmth of hte sun, although, since they are clear, one could also just leave them in place. The set comes wtih little anchor hooks. One photo shows it with a more sturdy rebar ground spike, which will work, too.

These are nice..Exactly what I wanted to allow seedlings to begin growing in the early spring (US Midwest) earlier than weather might permit. Description is accurate, they will fit perfectly in my raised garden . I did not want to build a huge cold frame so this will work. Some of my vegetables get a late start due to weather so I will start them under these hot houses. There are two in the package along with some stakes. The plastic is reinforced and nice and thick to protect from frost. The other nice thing is that each side is articulated and can open to tent to the plants. It opens like a baby buggy hood so you can peek at the baby plants :). Also, they fold down to store easily in the shed. Very nice!
