Worked really well for me (2007 Honda Civic). I had broken the screw way back when while doing a battery change. I have been living with a tape job ever since which while keeping the two halves together looked like crap. Only snag I ran into was trying to get the key shaft out because part of the tiny screw was still in there and you need to get it out to make the switch. If you have that issue don't give up. I ended up using pliers to brake off the plastic casing around the key then drilled the screw part out. After that it went back together very well. You can even take the Honda logo off and put it on your new key. Really a great product for the price and you have a spare case for the future.
