I bought this product as the key fobs for the F25 generation of BMW X3s are notorious for coming apart. The F25 fobs are actually 2 pieces that click together forming one fob: a hockey-stick-shaped "blade" piece, which attaches to your key ring, and the main "remote" component of the fob which actually starts the vehicle. I have lost the remote part of my BMW fob at least 3 times in the past, as it tends to disconnect from the blade.This particular product looked like a good way to keep the fob together as one unit, preventing the remote piece from falling off the blade. The product housing is a 2-piece design, where the 2 pieces screw together in 4 places with the fob going inside the skeleton housing. Unfortunately, the parts where you screw in the small screws became stripped over time and the screws simply fell out, such that the housing or frame simply disconnected back into 2 pieces, and it didn't hold the actual key fob at all.So, nice idea, but the quality of the product is lacking such that after 5 months, it became useless.

It was a gift for my dad since his key ko longer stayed together.. i got it for him to kinda bandaid the key together... im guessing it worked, no news is good news I guess lolHowever the price was ridiculous 🙄
