Made a guitar. It didn't fit into the neck. A bit long so I had to cut it down a few inches and re-weld the base. Order before starting the neck and make the neck the right length. Other than that it worked as it should after installed.

I purchased two. Look like great truss rods and currently using one in a build. Unfortunately, one of the truss rods had the blue wrap peeling off at the hex nut end. After working with the truss rod, more began peeling off and creeping down. I needed to place some scotch tape around it to stop it from peeling down the rod. Other than that, with one of the rods, they look good. I'll try to update after I complete the build I am using it in.

Have used these many times before.Work great and never any issues.You do need to know how to rout for these and use a round or box nosed bit.Make the rout very tight to the rod and snug to fingerboard .A gentle touch fit everywhere.A good product.

I am using these truss rods in all my guitars now. They are inexpensive and work just like the big brand names. Truss rods are not exactly rocket science, after all. functional and well made!

So far they are uninstalled in a guitar neck, but seem dimensionally accurate and precise to specifications, and seem well-made and at a great price. I adjusted both rods to be flat and this worked easily and well. Hex wrench fits nicely. Seem as good as luthier company version but at half the price. Shrink wrap appears tight, solid and stable.

I haven't installed them yet, but so far they look really good. The rugs come shrink-wrapped and plastic, which seems like it will help keep glue out of the threads. Also, some of the others here have mentioned that it took a long time to get these. Apparently that is no longer the case. These came in two days just like any regular Prime order. I'm very pleased with the apparent quality for the price.
