These button style pig nipples were easy to install (& aren't leaking so far on our plastic barrels). Currently, the pigs don't use them as much as the other 'lever action' style ones - as the other style pours out more water, thus creating a puddle - and mud - which makes for a happy pig. I have one of each type installed on their current barrel. Apparently, the push button style is fine for drinking (I see them use it sometimes when someone else doesn't want to move from the pool), but the button style doesn't make as much of a mess (so pigs prefer the other style; owners like this style with less mess). So, definitely good to use in more mild temperatures, but in the heat of the summer here in the midwest; I'm glad I have both styles installed because mud & too much water can help prevent overheating. Now, the pigs may run out excess water if I had installed only these, but in my situation, they use the lever ones to make their swimming pool.

The shoulder of the nipple is way to small. The pigs were able to push the nipple through before I had the bucket secured.

Cannot really say yet, will update as piggies are not born. All I can add is that they look very sturdy and well made. Have to figure out how to install, no directions. Youtube video's will give you insight.
