you have to remove the car key using a thin object to remove the pin and do the same for the blank in the new key fob. I had to do this as the existing key mechanism would not align with the holes in the new one. Also when putting the new fob together, make sure that the spring catches on the top and then turn the top counterclockwise one or two turns, don't completely close the top to test the button to see if the key springs out. Other than that the new one works for all buttons.4 stars as they don't include a punch to get the key pin out.

Like many reviews posted, I had to HEAVILY modify this product to work. The button release tabs are not the same as the original, the button it comes with is too short and the button hole is smaller than the original. Filing will be needed. Once assembled, the lock and unlock buttons feel squishy instead of clicky and overall the entire process is maddening and unsatisfying. Yes it works, no it does not work well and feels terrible.

Really liked received quickly. HOWEVER, fob was slightly different (smaller) than fob I needed to replace. Had to cut small pieces from covers....small screw very difficult to install and key doesn't retract in this new fob. After an hour or more, I now have a fob that could come apart (small screw not fully inserted)....key stuck open (not retracting) and this fob for my 2014 Chev Cruise is not a correct fit. BUt, because of low cost and alterations I needed to make, will not be returning it. Not sure how long it would long work. Overall, my experience with Amazon has been very positive. I guess this fob will, hopefully, will be my first and last negative review.

Original fob still works but lost a button. Instead of spending more money on buying a new complete fob we purchased this case only and took the circuit card out of the old fob. Works great and the case has a solid feel. Hardest part of the job was getting the card out of the original fob.

Product will not fit existing key without modification! They cast the release button wrong. Other than that, it looks like a factory key, and the chipset fits in it well, and the case closes nicely. Only giving 3 stars because of the required modification.

Key will not lock in place. The point of having a push button key, is to push a button and the key pops up. Not so much with this product. I tired everything and it still will not work. Also directions are very vague and unhelpful. Had to use a YouTube video and it still did not work. Returning immediately please do not waste your time like I did!!!

Make sure you're mechanically inclined to install these. They work well and revived my worn out keyfob. This is made in China and not OEM so you will have to push the PIN out to release the key of the metal arm on the fob. You cannot use the oem one unless you want the switch button to sink into the fob. Look for Google guides to help with install. I used a watch kit to separate the key, then a hammer to push the OEM pin through the hole that connects the key to the arm. The rest should be in the included instructions. Good luck!

I love that I have working unlock and locking buttons again but the spring doesn't support my key so I my key has to pulled out

Definitely cheap and looks exactly like the real thing. However, it isn't quite the same. Moving my old blade (Cruze 2012) didn't work as described. The button for opening and closing the blade looks the same, but it isn't. It works with the blade that comes in the package, but it doesn't fit in the old blade. The button from the old remote does not work in the new shell either - doesn't keep the blade closed and it doesn't keep the blade open. So the key stays in open position and wobbles a lot. Other than that it works - all buttons on the remote work, the car starts and you can drive it. If you are looking for more than that, find another product.
