fit perfectly on 2005 malibu maxx lt the original was rusted and previous owner missed the 10 year period for the recall on the factory part. steering is tight and fit on new rack and pinion with ease

The bearings fell out and it completely broke apart as I was driving my car! I had to get it towed which cost me $75. Plus I had paid to get an alignment right after this part was installed. Junk! I won’t be using this seller again!

Absolutely does not fit 06 G6 GT electric steering. As other hve said buy the Dorman or other trusted brand. The bolt will not go thought the cut out notch on the steering rack shaft ,it's too big strips the threads and what a mess. Old one back in a greased for now.Refunded.

It was just what I ordered except the locking insert for the dust cover to cover the hole in the body frame was loose. I had to RTV silicone it on to get it to seal properly. I had to clean out burrs to get the yokes to fit.
