Local and national parts stores wanted $200 or more for this. With all 5 star ratings, I was willing to give it a shot and save some money. It's been 2 months or so and I'm very happy with this product.

2013 F150 that first started having issue at 60K miles. I was told it needed a steering sector, electronic pump and control module - BIG$.I first lubricated the factory u-joints on the factory lower steering shaft, and it helped some, but it still had issues.I then put in a less expensive replacement shaft that had a quicker delivery and that gave me about an 80% fix, but still a bit of play in the steering and the steering wheel was a few degrees off of center.After reading the too few reviews on this one, I ordered it too and it came quicker than expected. I installed it today - WOW, steering wheel was on center, and more importantly, the steering improved to 100%. The truck now had 88K miles and I am kicking myself for not doing it two + years ago. Very easy to replace with minimal tools and a persuader device (hammer) for getting the old one off. Make sure you keep the factory bolts; you will need them for this one. You will need a 10MM socket for the lower bolt and a 13MM socket for the upper bolt.My advice is to spend the couple of extra bucks and get this unit. Absolutely try this fix before being talked into replacing the sector! Also, lubricating the existing shaft will help, but only replacing it will give you the cure you want.

Replaced an old worn out steering shaft on my F150 with this new one. Easy to replace within 30 minutes. No more slop in my steering! Happy camper!

It was a easy install and truck steering is good now. It didn't change the steering wheel alinement whichI was worried about, shows quality manufacturing. Good product!I notice that a click sound has developed in the shaft when turning, but it doesn't affect the handling.Could be a little play in the shaft. Only happens 90 degree turns, doesn't matter which direction.

My steering was getting tight and especially when it’s cold out side ordered this instead of paying $200 for one and it works great fit perfectly it doesn’t come with bolts keep that in mind but I definitely recommend it I have a 2011 f150 xlt
