There is a manufacturing flaw with these. There is a plastic connector that should easily slide into two slots on either piece to join them. The plastic mold was not clean in the slots and I had to cut away plastic in order to insert the connector. I also find the ground stakes are not long enough and the weight of the plants pushes them into the ground so much that the purpose for these is almost lost completely.

Ok for small-scale and short term use. The idea makes sense, but berries especially, end up being grooved into by the hard and right-edged plastic, which allowed for breaking the skins on some and causing the mushiness we were trying to avoid.Initially they did help to keep the budding off the ground, but our plants were preferrable to us removing these once the fruit started to expand.Maybe just keep some mulch around the plants as a barrier.

I dislike that it's plastic but my strawberries like this as it lifts the berries off the ground so there is less chance of rot.
