My first machine and it is super easy to use. Doesn’t come with it’s own software, but Lightburn is a great program for other stuff too, so totally worth it!

Bought the engraver Dec 2024. Not even a month and a half the guide belt for the x axis has split on a small section, causing the module to get hung up for a second making lines crooked. Is this normal wear? Is there somewhere online to get replacements? Otherwise I've got a powerful cat toy ... not acceptable for it to fraye that soon.

Works ok at engraving, not very good at cutting. Started to have issues with alignment after a couple of weeks.

A little underpowered but it’s only a 5w laser so you get what you paid for. Easy to put together but the instructions are a joke. The video on the memory stick is much better but I don’t find that until after it was finished.

Everything is perfect about this machine compared to the old one I had the only problem was the SD card that came with the laser engraver had no files on it so I had to go on their website to get the drivers installed into the laser

I wanted a laser etcher. I got that and more! I already had Lightburn and was comfortable with it, or so I thought. My other laser was attached to my CNC, which made things maddening most the time. The creality 12w laser and Lightburn is smooth as silk. No issues, super fast, easy to setup and use. Very happy with my purchase.

I have only played with it for a short time and am already getting the hang of it. I love the thing. High quality. Nice price point. Works really well. I use LightBurn software which seems to be similar platform to Adobe etc. I would recommend buying a decent heavier gauge usb cable to transmit data to the laser from the computer. I bought a camera set up also for about 79$ which I suspect will make it much much easier to place the planned engraving in the correct spot on the target substrate; that is a bit tricky. I bought it for hobby/fun but I can see how people can make some money with it.
