This is somewhat old product; I have it running since 2020 24/7 mode as a low-power fanless home server running linux with several docker containers and VMs...The great thing about this motherboard is that you can actually run 32gb RAM. It's been tested withseveral specific RAM modules so do not expect it to run with any SO-DIMM modules. I haveCorsair (MSX32GX4M2A2666C18) (2x16Gb KIT) and it runs stable.. as rock...

Placa Asrock J5040-ITX perfecta para el uso que le doy un equipo multimedia para el salón y sustituir a mi antigua J3455B-ITX que se portado muy bien pero el tiempo pasa y se ha quedado atrás estaba en duda entre esta y la ASROCK N100M pero me echo atrás el que solo tiene un slot de memoria RAM y solo dos puertos sata .Solo sustituirla en mi caja Cooler Master tipo cubo, actualizar la bios antes de instalar nada (se descarga de la propia web de Asrock ) conecte dos modulos de memoria ( Crucial RAM 8GB DDR4 2400MHz CL17 ) . Instalar mi Windows 10 dejarlo actualizar todo y instalar Windows 11 sin problema reconoce los 16 GB de ram y windwos 11 con un consumo ridículo y sin ruidos de momento todo perfecto que dure así.

Ich nutze das Mainboard mit einer Pico-PSU 80W, einer Samsung 980 Pro NVME 1 TB, einem Noctua-Lüfter und einem Morex Mini-ITX Gehäuse 557 und einem 12 cm Noctua Lüfter.Es war alles etwas friemelig, da das Gehäuse absolut winzig ist, sodass der Lüfter kaum hineinpasst. Dann noch ein NVME-Adapter, den ich zurechtfräsen musste, damit ich diesen mit einem PCI-Verlängerungskabel irgendwo verstauen konnte, da der Adapter im PCI-Slot zu hoch wäre für das Gehäuse...Nunja und zu guter Letzt das Mainboard mit 64 GB Arbeitsspeicher bestückt. Ja, das geht wunderbar, auch wenn die Spezifikation gegenteiliges behauptet. Ich betreibe damit Debian und einige ressourcenlastige Services unter Docker, die knapp 40-60 GB des Arbeitsspeichers dauerhaft (24/7) belegen. Keine Crashses o.Ä. bisher erlebt.Getestet wurden folgende 2x32GB Crucial Ram-Kits, wobei beide auch tadellos funktioniert haben:CT2K32G4SFD832ACT2K32G4S266MDa ich hier und in Foren noch nicht davon gelesen habe, dass jemand diese Mainboards mit 64 GB betreibt, dachte ich mir mal, dass ich eine Rezension verfasse, um andere darüber zu informieren :)

ASRock only mentions Windows 10 on their support page, but I did a clean install with Windows 11 Pro and everything works without issues. All drivers are found automatically. I also used 16GB memory without issues.It does get a little hotter than my old J1900. While running Windows Update with a lot of CPU usage it went up to 58C.
