I bought the 120V DC, 3A model for charging an electric car 100V module and it works. The knobs take forever to set values with but they feel good and the machine remembers your last settings when you shut it off. The fan is relatively quiet and seems progressive. The unit is very lightweight and takes very little bench space. It comes with two banana plug leads with alligators clamps. I removed a star because the unit will let pass some current when you plug the main leads to a battery, even if it’s completely shut down; I had scary sparks every time I plug the leads on the battery posts. I think the unit has some capacitors that need to be filled slowly using a resistance. Overall I’m happy for the price as high voltage DC power supply are usually 3-4 times more expensive. I’ll update to see how long it lasts.

The product’s DC power supply claims in both the user manual and specifications to support input of 230V and 50Hz, which aligns with the standard power supply in the UAE. It also instructs the use of a 230V fuse before connecting to input power. However, despite following these instructions carefully, I have experienced repeated fuse failures and damage. Shockingly, the external sticker on the product clearly states an input of 115V AC only, which contradicts the advertised specifications and user manual.It is clear that this product does not meet the advertised standards, and I am deeply dissatisfied with the time and effort.

Zusätzlich zu meinem schon recht betagtem Referenzspannungsregler nutze das Teil im Modellbau und beim Entwurf elektronischer Schaltungen.Ich bin zufrieden. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt. Das Gehäuse macht einen recht soliden Eindruck. Die Displayanzeigen stimmen auch, was ich meßtechnisch geprüft habe. Das einzige was mich etwas stört ist der kurzzeitig auftretende relativ hohe Ausgangsstrom der im Kurzschlußfall auftritt. Das dürfte wohl mit dem vermutlich relativ großen Kondensator an der Ausgangsseite verbunden sein, der seine Ladung im Kurzschlußfall ungehindert nach außen hin abgibt. Es funkt und knallt doch recht heftig. Hier hätte man sicherlich auch eine bessere Lösung finden können. Wenn man das weiß kann man aber seine Arbeitsweise danach richten und etwas besser aufpassen Kurzschlüsse zu vermeiden. Die einstellbare Strombegrenzung im laufenden Betrieb funktioniert hingegen zuverlässig.Eine klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits, für Leute die für allgemeine Anwendungen einstellbare Gleichspannungsnetzteile mit ordentlicher Genauigkeit der Ausgangsspannungen benötigen. Über die Restwelligkeit der Spannung kann ich keine Aussagen machen. In meinen Anwendungsfällen war das bislang auch nicht relevant.

Power supply: 4.5 starsPower cable: 0 starsAs with many electrical devices sold on Amazon, it was supplied with a non-compliant IEC power cable straight from China.There are several problems with the cable:- The outer dimensions of the plug seem undersized compared to most grounded North American plugs. This means that it is easier to accidentally touch the live prongs when plugging it in.- The conductors are undersized. The cable claims to be rated for 10amps and have 0.75mm^2 (~18AWG) conductors but they appear to be closer to 0.5mm^2 (~20AWG). This can be seen in the first picture I attached.- The conductors and IEC connectors are not made of the appropriate material. Although the wire seems to be made of copper, it’s not. I expected copper-plated aluminum but it was even worse. It actually seems to be something like copper plated zinc as it sticks to a magnet as seen in the second picture. The IEC connector also has poor quality contacts as it too sticks to the magnet as seen in the last picture.These issues are overlooked by the majority of people as they are not very obvious. The cable looks like any other computer power cord from the outside. The issues can only be detected if the cable is loaded to around its full rated current or if it is cut open and examined.I suggest that anyone who buys this product gets rid of the cable and uses a proper one. They are easy and cheap to find.Definitely don’t let this fire hazard end up in your box of random power cables😂😂

Ce model SPPS-C3010 a remplacé un ancien produit moins performant 30V 3A et plus encombrant.C'est une alimentation de type à découpage plus précise, meilleur rendement, avec toutes les protections adéquates et compact.Très ergonomique tout est en face avant notamment le bouton Power, bien souvent situé à l'arrière sur bien d'autres produit. Un prise de chargement USB A (5v 2A) en face avant très pratique.Un bouton "Output on" fonction qui permet de couper la sortie sans débrancher la charge, sécurisant pour modifier un branchement. On peut régler la limitation en courant sans court-circuiter la sortie.Le réglage des valeurs de tension et courant via les bouton (V et A) sans fin est très pratique à l'usage pour réglage précis (j'avais un doute...). A la mise sous tension (Power) la sortie "Output" est désactivée et le digit sélectionné est celui d'indice le plus petit . Un clic sur le bouton (V ou A) pour passer au digit supérieur et on tourne pour régler de 0 à 9, quand on passe de 9 à 0 le digit supérieur s'incrémente, bien pensé. A noter qu'un clic sur un des boutons (V ou A) active le même rang de digit sur afficheur (V et A) . On s'y fait rapidement et cela évite des modifications trop rapide. Niveau affichage grand digits blanc bien lisibles super top!.Le ventilateur ne se met en marche que vers 50° env. et n'est pas bruyant.Je n'ai pas testé le niveau de bruit résiduel en sortie du au découpage, d'après certains avis ce serait très léger... sinon il faut y mettre deux a trois fois le prix.A signaler que le produit reçu présentait un défaut d'affichage en mode "Output on". Valeurs de tension, courant et puissance incohérentes bien que l'alimentation fournissait la tension et le courant correct.J'ai contacté le service client de iKococater (support-eu@ikococater.net) et leur ai fait part du problème avec photos à l'appui et je me doit de dire qu'ils ont été au top, réponse rapide, diagnostique efficace et échange du produit rapidement sans problème, même pas besoin de passer par Amazon pour demander un échange produit, c'est le SAV iKococater qui a tout géré, vraiment super! … ce qui est loin d'être le cas de tous les services client…Pour infos le produit reçu en remplacement fonctionne parfaitement. Je recommande...

I am an electronics hobbyist and bought this 10A 30V power supply 3 months ago. I was pleasantly surprised with it; running well, accurate, easy to use. I had not tried the 5V USB port until now and found that it wasn't working. After a short email to Support, they promptly sent me a new unit which arrived in 2 days. Thank You to the iKococater service folks. I highly recommend this unit.
