Note:
1. The air outlet of the hot air desoldering station and its surroundings may have extremely high temperatures, so be careful to prevent burns.
2. The heating handle must be placed on the handle rack, never on the work or other places.
3. Please keep the air outlet unobstructed without obstructions.
4. After the work is completed, the heating handle must be placed on the handle frame, and the machine can be automatically cooled to below 100 degrees Celsius (into the standby state) before the power switch can be turned off.
5. When in use, the distance between the air outlet and the object is at least 2 mm, calculated as the air outlet.
6. Please pull out the plug if you will not use it for a long time after work.
7. Please do not let children approach or touch.

It is soooooo easy to use! Choose a temp, grab the handle off the hook and it will fire up and heat super fast. Choose your temp and air speed at any time. When the nozzle handle is returned to the base the unit does a cool down mode to keep the element from cooling to fast. Wonderful!!!!Pick it up again and back to super fast heating. It literally gets to temp in approx 3 seconds and holds stable temps well.This unit blows air from within the chassis down the lead to the heating tip, not like the cheap units that have the air motor in the heating handle. IT's dramatically quicker to get to temp and holds a properly regulated temp, unlike the units half the price.Super happy with this one!!!

I would say this is a great hot air station. I've had the cheap types that usually contain the turbine blower in the hand assembly. It would take forever to get a component off or I wouldn't be able to get it off at all.This hot air station can get components off within seconds, due to its piston pump.The station auto cools when the hand assembly is placed back into its cradle. Unfortunately, the speed doesn't automatically increase to auto cool faster.The temperature quickly reaches the adjusted temp within

This unit works very well and is easy to use. The instructions mention most details except I do not feel they explain "standby mode" clearly enough but I figured out all the details. I found out that in standby mode the fan doesn't run and the display shows "---". If you turn on the unit with the wand stored this will occur and may make the unit look like there is a fault which was my first impression. Removing the wand will bring the fan on and show up the wand air temperature on the display. The display shows the actual temperature most of the time except when you change the temperature setting it will show the desired temperature you selected,and a few seconds later will change to show the actual temperature. This unit heats so fast that by the time the display would normally change back it is already at the set temperature, great performance. Cool down is a different story as it takes much longer to cool down than heat up so when the display changes back it will show a gradual decrease in temperature. If the wand is stored when hot, the unit will automatically cut off the heat and you will see the temperature drop slowly (at this time the temp setting control will not respond to any setting). Once the temperature has dropped to 100C the fan will shut off and the display will read "---" lifting the wand will turn the unit back on. This unit is going to great for heat shrink as well as solder reflow work. I can see buying another one for the heat shrink station as it beats the heck out of a heat gun as it is fast to heat and can get into small places easily.

It worked great for about 10 uses over 3.5 years - now it just blows warm air. It won't even melt solder anymore. Not worth the price. I found the cord too short, too. I needed to have the main station as close as possible to my work for it to be able to point straight down at it. Buy something else for this kind of money.
