Bought these to replace a previous one that broke. The previous one was a different type and probably several years old. I'm hopeful that these ones last equally as long.

I do not know about all of you but when you have ceiling fans installed with new construction or are replacing the ones you have, the pull chains are never long enough. I say that because I am 6'4" and my wife 5'10" and we still have issues turning off the fan. I like these pull chains, one because I finally found ones that are in nickel and two, I do not have to get a chair to pull on them. Easy to install and they look awesome. I highly recommend these pull chains.
