Well made and very sensitive. The level did not come calibrated or if it was then the shipping knocked it out of adjustment. It was difficult to calibrate as the adjustment screw is too coarse for fine adjustments as just the slightest turn causes a lot of movement of the bubble. The adjustment screw cap doesn’t fit tight over the screw hole and is just stuck on with some adhesive film. The wooden box was broken in several places which is not surprising since there was no sufficient outer packaging to protect it. It just came in a thin cardboard sleeve and it was shipped in just a bubble envelope so it’s no wonder this heavy level broke the wood box apart in shipping. Other than that I’m quite pleased with it.

Used this to level a pool table. Did require calibration, and yes, calibration screw is sensitive, but doable. Table sits on carpet, got it so accurately level that leaning on a side of the table and compressing the carpet moved the bubble off center. I was worried that it would be so sensitive that a slight touch of the shims would send the bubble flying, but it worked well, very confident that that the table is dead on. No issues with box or packaging. However much greater the name brand levels are, I didn't need anything more.

I have used this precision level to set up my PM-1440 engine lathe. To do this, I used both a Starrett 12" machinists level (fiducials of .005" per 10" level), and this one (fiducials of .0002" per 10"). Unfortunately, the instructions are difficult to parse, since they do not really match the level itself. I finally figured out how to adjust the level, which worked very well. This is a heavy level that comes in a wooden box (slightly damaged during shipment).

The product protection case arrived, totally smashed and unusable. I have no choice but to use the product because I need it for my job. I cannot send it back in time to get another one. Not impressed of paying all this money and the timber protective case that it needs to store it in is totally destroyed.

I bought this to level my CNC mill ( pcnc440) and my Craftsman 12" X24" lathe. No issues with the level being accurate out of the box, didn't need to calibrate it. As others have suggested, you can check it on a more or less level surface by reading it, and then rotating it 180 degrees, and comparing the two readings. Mine was dead on. The level is sensitive enough to pick up the smallest turn of the leveling feet on either machine that I can make, somewhere around 1-2 degrees of rotation. Would definitely recommend.
