I needed some short rod holders for my boat these seemed to really fit the bill. After the first use the foam was not firm enough so that when you pushed the rods in you had help the foam keep its shape. For now they will do but going to look for something a little nicer. Not bad just not good enough for me.

I needed a rod holder setup for my boat that was horizontal, and the size limitation of no more the holes 7” on center and I needed 2 sets. Very easy install, with only three anchor points ( stainless steel screws) It’s very sturdy. It fits my bass rods: spinning 1000-4000 series just fine. and bait cast rods just fine. Went down the high way and nothing flew out of boat. So definitely fits normal sized rods. I’m not sure how well it will hold heavy offshore or heavy catfish gear. I’m sure it could work. In my opinion it is sturdier and deeper rod wells than than the Berkley fishing rod holder of comparable product, I have some for vertical storage in the garage.

Likes; inexpensive, look great, easy to install.Dislikes; cannot tighten screws very tight as plastic starts to cave in, really only holds 2 rods comfortably, 3 rods make a mangled mess at the reel end.Overall I can hold a total of 4 rods which is good.
