Higher temperature resistance
The temperature of welding sparks usually exceeds 1000℉, and the maximum temperature resistance of fiberglass is 1000℉, so ordinary welding blankets are not durable, usually after 1-2 times of use, the blanket surface will be damaged by sparks.

Liquid silicone coating

Ottimo riparo, l'ho usato in cucina per isolare dal calore il frigorifero quando usa la cucina a gas poiché i fuochi sono a pochi cm. L'ho appeso con delle calamite con i ganci.

I've hit it with direct flame from my turbo torch (acetylene) and it's been holing up great. It discolouration but never melts or burns through.
