I have needed one of these for ages. Saw someone on YouTube with one. Looked it up, and it is just perfect for my shop. I do a lot of small electronics projects and keeping track of screws and parts is half the battle. Also not ruining the table top is the other half of the battle.

Bought this so I could have a nice mat to protect my table from my various tools while working on retro consoles and games. I sleek, has great magnetic slots to help prevent item loss, and plenty of other organizational slots for tools/parts.

Great for organizational purposes but the "magnetic" parts organizers are weaker than fridge magnets. For the price of some cheap neodymium magnets, I would have paid more for stronger magnets. The magnetic feature of this work surface is trash. Other than that, it's exactly as expected.

Whether I'm disassembling electronics, gluing an item, or painting miniatures this has been my all purpose crash pad for projects.The many seperate cubbies have been helpful for holding items for prep or drying. The recessed screw matrix helps with part identification, so you can easily track what order small screws were removed and where they go (taking a diagram picture with your phone and numbering each one helps with this) just be careful of the magnet in the upper right portion of the mat if working on sensitive electronics. This magnet portion also works for holding screws or even my magnetic miniature bases.The top tray works well for organizing your screwdrivers or even as a paintbrush tray.Haven't yet used it for soldering but I suspect since it's silicone it would hold up and would probably just as be acceptable for wood burning (pyromancy) projects as well.Nice sturdy mat with a multitude of uses.

Product quality for the heat resistant aspect is very good and it is well made.However from the perspective of using this for electronics as it is advertised for, the mat generates significant static charge just from being moved around. Picking it up from the desk I can feel the hairs on the my arms stand up from the static charge and touching a grounded surface (even while holding the mat) does not dissipate it. There is a serious risk of ESD damage for electronics if you use it for that.

Had the mat for a little while now and works well, only thing is have an issue with is it started to crack after a month or so.The smaller parts of the mat where you can put your screws start to crack but the rest of the mat seams fine so overall not bad.

Robuste, résistant et discret, souple et facile ranger.Pourquoi facile a ranger ? Parce que ne pas souder tout les jours mais faire de l'électronique est possible... et que ce tapis qui est tel que décrit sans plus... il n'est ni dissipatif, ni conductif. C'est du silicone galvanisé et très robuste. Un produit très résistant aux abrasions diverses. Bref dans mon cas, c'est exactement ce don j'avais besoin pour ne pas endommager mon tapis ESD Protection MAT qui vaut tout de même assez cher et n'est pas aussi résistant à la chaleur.Excellent ! Se rince a l'eau et nettoie comme un charme .Je recommande
