This thing looks awesome! Two long clamps on adjustable arms that grip the work item securely without damaging it. On a wide stable base. An excellent addition to collection of modelling tools.

It seems well-made; heavy enough to stay in place and no problems apparent with the clips. One of the screws for the brackets show screwed to the base was missing, but it is easy enough to replace if I ever think I need to use those.

This product works great. It holds work pieces steady and secure I can easily recommend this product for anyone who is interested in a small base and arms with clips to hold their work prices while welding and or soldering.

Llegó en el tiempo comprometido y el producto es bueno. Sin embargo, a una pinza le faltó una tuerca pequeña que no es fácil conseguir.

I really do like these....once I tightened some of the bolts and re-installed some of the hex heads the fell off when I took it out of the packaging. Out of the package the arms are/were loose and won't hold position at all. That said, once I got everything snugged down I really do like having these helping hands. The adjustments are easy to make and the heavy base makes the whole setup feel pretty solid. The jaws grip tight but don't have a death grip on your parts.

It looks sturdy it's flexible it articulates in every possible angle that I could imagine ever needing the needles or the pins are removable and replaceable. I heard about this from adam savage the guy who was on that tv show. In some reviews I heard people going on and on about how they had to put things together and how things fell out of the box. Well I think these people have been probably babysat all their lives and don't even know how to boil an egg so all that wasn't true there's a couple of nuts that can be that need to be put on today's tiny little screws it took me roughly about a minute. So those reviews that you're going to read about totally ignore them these are just people who love to complain about every little thing

Huge upgrade over the cheaper alligator clip + flimsy flexible hose helping hands. Each arm is essentially 6x articulated ball joints. Solid steel construction. Base is a steel plate on rubber feet, very stable.Gripper jaws on mine had some burrs from where the teeth were cut. 2 minutes with a file fixed that. Jaws are replaceable, set screw holds each in. Mine was missing 1 set screw, but I replaced all the set screws with stainless M4 socket cap screws (3mm allen drive), making all screws use the same driver. They didn't need to be set screws anyway since it doesn't matter if the screw protrudes, it's not in the way.Ball joint tension adjusted via 3mm allen drive caphead screw (M5 thread) and an M5 cap nut opposing. However, the retaining plate on the nut side is threaded. Nut is only there for added security and to cover the end of the screw.**You do not need 2 tools to adjust tension**, only a 3mm allen drive. Very smart design decision as I was considering replacing the cap nuts with knurled or winged nuts to make tension adjustment less of a hassle, but that's unnecessary.

These things are built like a tank, very well done. I have heard they tend to rust easily, I haven't experienced that yet.

Product arrived as described. one caveat, careful when you unpack, The arms are held together with a screw and acorn nut. During transit the acorn nuts came loose and I had them along with washers and screws all over the floor. Luckily I found them all, and was able to reassemble this item. Other wise very satisfied with the product.
