Your cart is empty. All aluminum and bright orange anodized intonation tool for Floyd Rose Tremolo Bridges. This tool works with Original FR, FR Special and FR EVH models. It will NOT work on Ibanez Edge, FR 1000 or FR Pro Series.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1 - Block your trem so it can't move (you can use SkyScraper Guitars gauged Trem Wedge Blocks).
2 - Adjust your fine tuners to mid way to allow clearance for the toe of the tool
3 - Tune the guitar to pitch using your favorite tuner
4 - Clamp the tool with the silver tang just behind the string block and the toe of the tool wrapped under the fine tuner plate (see picture). Snug it up.
5 - Loosen the saddle screw for the string you're working on.
6 - Ensure your string is in tune, then fret the string at the 12th fret. If the note is sharp, tighten the Intonation Tool's screw, retune and check again. If the note at the 12th fret is flat, loosen the Intonation Tool's screw to allow the saddle to move forward. Retune and check again. Do this for all strings until each string plays in tune open and at the 12th fret.

This is an amazing product and it comes with my full recommendation. I built a brand new strat and put a Floyd Rose in it and use this well manufactured tool (steel and aluminum) seamlessly to intonate properly. The headache of adjusting the saddle retuning doing it over and over is no more. Bottom line, if you do your own work on your guitars then you definitely need this tool if you have a Floyd Rose. Best purchase ever in my opinion.

Works as intended, but took a few frustrating attempts to get the hang of. The tang that fits into the saddle does so at an angle meaning downwards pressure needs to be applied while you wind the screw to adjust intonation or the tool pops out and the saddle shoots all the way forward.

Ganz klar NEIN!!!Sicher kann man ein FloydRose Trem, auch auf anderem Wege einstellen.ABER Bequemer geht es definitiv mit diesem kleinen Helferlein!!!Andere Saitenstärke, andere Stimmung, und dann „mal eben“ Intonation einstellen?Mit diesem Teil ein Klacks! Technically you can set the intonation without something like this, but whoah, this makes it so much easier. Save hours, not minutes. In simplest terms; This thing holds the saddle in place, wherever you want it, while the bolt is loose. Move the saddle forward or backward as you pluck the string, until its in the right place. Bonus - it holds tight enough that you can take the guitar off the table and set the intonation while it's in your lap.

This tool works fine (except if you go 10-46 it would not work for E-46 and A-36), but it is not easy to use and a money grab. Two small pieces of aluminum, on steel post, and a screw. The design is OK but not great, and sometimes under tension saddles are escaping from the grip and spring out. Looking back to this, for the same price one may buy from Floyd Rose a set of Hollow Points that are always on your bridge ready to adjust, look cool, and help overall with the sustain of your bridge. Would not buy again and don't advise anybody to do that, there are better options.
