Great motherboard from Gigabyte, It has all of the features you will need to build a small form factor PC. 4 ram slots when so many in this pricepoint only use 2, the wireless feature is also a plus. Had no issues setting up the pc or with the softeware.

You gotta keep in mind the form factor and had to adjust your casing standoffs accordingly to fit the micro atx form factor. That said manual isn’t provided and you had to download the manual from the net which imo is a hassle.Bios was quite ez to navigate but you gotta bear in mind on the first boot up that your ram speed will be dialed back to the defaults and you gotta adjust xmp settings.Nvme slots you gotta pull those plastic stuff out before chucking in your nvme disk. Other mobo manufacturers should follow this example instead of using screws.Bios updating is quite ez, nothing outta the ordinary.

My son was having massive issues with his computer crashing. He sourced this and it arrived quickly. He's had it for nearly a year now without it missing a beat. Easy to install and reliable.

Great value, but NO ARGB RGB HEADERS on this model, the specs are inaccurate.

The description states it has RGB header but the board that was shipped to me doesn't have it. After checking the Gigabyte website, this board has a few Revisions. The board that was shipped is Rev 1.5/1.6 so there is no RGB header. The 1.7 Rev does come with it.And for those who doesn't know what the plastic tab is on the M.2 slot, you pull out the tab to install your M.2 Drive and put the plug back in to secure the M.2 drive.Buyer beware, other wise I believe this board is still a good price. Just need to get an RGB hub. Would have given it a 5 star if the description was correct.

Bought this as the cheapest AM4 motherboard to throw into my server machine with a spare Ryzen 5 3600 I had laying around. Works perfectly.

The revision of the board I received (1.5) has a secondary PCIe x16 slot that only operates in x1 mode. Other revisions of this board have a secondary PCIe x16 slot that operates in x4 mode and it isn't clear what version you will get when you order. I found this highly misleading as the product photos on this page show a version with 4 PCIe lanes indicated on the silkscreen. This is a serious problem for what I intended to do with this motherboard and I am unhappy about possibly having to disassemble a system that is in use to perform a return. The documentation for this board is also sparce and lacks an explanation of how the SSD clips are intended to work. For those reading this in the future, the clip is two pieces with a living hinge (the loop of plastic) connecting them. If you put a flat head screwdriver in that loop and twist, it will separate. It is not intuitive at all and I would have preferred that screws were used instead of plastic clips. The board does boot, but I think that putting a PCIe x16 slot on the board that only works at x1 mode on certain revisions of the same model of motherboard is unreasonable and those revisions should have been assigned a different model number.I would recommend avoiding this board. There are other B550 boards that are better at this price point.

Okay, you wanna hear about my anecdotal experience? I plucked a 5600G in this and was expecting a full weekend of Windows reinstalls and such BS since I was replacing a 4th gen i5. Well, the freaking motherboard posted on the first boot and Windows drove all drivers after two reboots. I may have to give Microsoft some credit for this bit, hey, whatever. I updated the BIOS in five minutes and then updated to Win11 without a tragic story to tell. It worked.More anecdotal evidence? A bought a Gigabyte board because the last one worked without problems for seven years. So I bought another Gigabyte board. Incredible, heh?Wanna have some more nuanced context? Well the BIOS interface is kinda meh. The app center is awful. Guess what? I use those for a few cumulative minutes each year so I don't care.

Gigabyte is my go to brand for motherboard, easy peazy to install. Plug and play like you can expect. (I recently tried msi and aorus brand and run into so many issues)
