Board is incredible! The ease of access with the connections being in the back, all the fan slots available. Tons of storage space, and it looks great too. For the price with the ease of installing, the board is hard to beat.

Offers an excellent BIOS interface, makes it easier to flash updates. Includes plenty of ports and a solid audio interface. Motherboard is overall durable and offers good protection for your components. An inconvenience for me was the fan connector placement, as 3 fan connectors are placed back to back at the bottom of the motherboard vs. 2 being near the top. It is useful for bottom fans, but leaves less options for some top fan configurations.

Works perfectly, good warranty.Unfortunately, the motherboard didn't work when I opened the box. I worried a lot because I opened the box half a year after the purchase, but MSI processed the RMA without any issue. The motherboard has really good features and strong MOSFETs with a good warranty policy. I will recommend this motherboard to friends.

The board happily fits all of my M.2 slots while also supporting lots of USBS and USB C ports. The 2.5 GB port means my internet is always fast. Really happy with it overall. The amount of fan headers means I can run a ton of fans without even worrying about where to plug them in. The other headers are labeled well and easy to use. I tear down my PC often and never stress about my motherboard now. The support RAM speed also means I don't need to worry about my motherboard slowing down my RAM! Absolutely love it!

I spent quite a bit time looking around the options and settled on MSI Tomohawk Z790 DDR5 MOBO and was worried it could be dead on DOA after reading online reviews and watching youtube videos. I guess I am lucky it wasn't the case. so far it was pretty easy to follow the instructions and I was quite overwhelmed with the BIOS options, however there is no need to touch anything for now.By Default XMP is enabled, and it was showing 4800MHz for both the memories I have installed in BIOS, however after installing the Windows 11 pro, it recognized 5200mhz DDR5 RAM its own without any problem.I could have gone with higher MHz RAM, however I did not want to spend more money on higher mhz since it allows to handle higher mhz RAM, so I have choosen to go with 5600Mhz after studying a bit deeper.Just as a side note, these MSI boards do not have any seal on the box, so do not assume they are open box. they are brand new boards, there are also youtube videos where they describe the same.MSI center needs to be updated to 2.0.x.x. in order to get working the Mystic light synch within MSI center. It comes with 2 wifi antennas (Gigabyte z790 board requires extra) and is connected to my Ubitiqui 5GHz AP, Driver for wifi nic to work needs to be installed by using the usb drive comes in the MSI box that has pretty much all the required drivers without worrying to have an internet. Also I have updated the BIOS version online from v.H20-->v.H70 without any issues using Advanced updates within MSI center.MSI board came with only 2 sata data cable where 1 is straight and other one has a 90 degree connector.I had ordered Deepcool liquid cooler 720 however returned it regardless it says it has antileak technology, i did not want to deal with a leak down the road and settled with an Aircooler for now.Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans is quite bigger for this TD500 case, so I bought DS15S cooler however it comes with 1 fan and it is expensive comparable to what thermallight PS120SE, so based on bunch of reviews I rather choose to go with that air cooler.for now I have ordered more of Thernallight 120SE fan instead of using Coolermaster sickleflow 120mm fan or Noctua 120mm due to price after reading bunch of reviews. My build after almost 20 years...No Graphics card yet at this point..One day..step by step. The motherboard is amazing for the price and has everything you need for all types of purposes, there is just one downside with this is that the XMP is not always stable with certain rams and speeds BUT every day there is a new bio update that adds new supported speed and compatibility for the ddr5, even if you have issues you can drop down the speed by like maybe 200mhz and it will be stable. there is a bunch of tutorials out there on how to do it called "memory try it". It's really stable, high quality, and reliable. So far I had no issues and this was my second PC build. RTX 4090, i9 13900k, 64GB 6400mhz. another small downside is that the motherboard plugs are really hard and stiff to plug stuff in, but actually, some might like the secureness of the plugs.Overall the motherboard is amazing. I was choosing this or asus z790 and everyone just wouldn't stop talking about this motherboard so I got it and now I don't regret it at all and I see why people kept talking about it.9.8 out of 10
