This motherboard works well and posted on my first try with it. The instructions included with it are pretty lacking, but there is a PDF online with a more detailed manual. Wish they just included it.Pros: Looks nice. Great cooling. Lots of bios options. Custom fan curves. Easy to install drivers.Cons: No explanation for how to set fan curves, and even when you do, the fans spin at 100% briefly after wake from sleep. The GPU PCIe is 1 slot lower than on all other Matx motherboards, so my GPU sits really close to my PSU. There are only 3 fan headers and 2 rgb headers.

So far the performance is great, bios is pretty decent plenty of updates, fit in its case perfectly and looks absolutely stunning. So far it’s treating my 7700x quite nicely, was able to easily update bios. Seems stable haven’t had over a month so only time will tell. So far impressed with the matx comparability as well plenty of fan headers and 2 m.2. Only bad quality is it lacks pcie 5.0. But great for gaming just not the most future proof

This review is only a few days into owning my new setup, however I have nothing but good things to say.First thing like other have said update the bios, even if it seems like everything's going great I found out after a few restarts it started acting up and freezing with the boot light on the Ez debug. After update so far so good.Paired with a 7700x it's more than capable for what I use the PC for and for what games I play, supports the Corsair 6000 cl36 with xmp enabled no problem.Wifi works awesome, no complaints on signal strength. Live rural and with Starlink I've hit 200 Mbps plus no problem. Only issue I found and might help someone else out is while installing windows 11. I ran into an issue with it requiring an Internet connection. Not having access to an Ethernet option and obviously no wifi drivers available during setup theres a trick to skip the requirement. Shift+f10 and in the command promt type "oobebypassnro" (without quotations) it will restart setup options and give you options to bypass the Internet requirement.I'll update if things change but so far it's all I need and more, I don't have a use for overclocking so I'll leave that for someone else's review.

Chose this board for my first desktop build after using laptops for the past 10 years. This board feels very sturdy and has a great visual aesthetic. All black with beautiful, subtle details; looks professional and sleek and was the perfect foundation for a blacked-out build. The install was incredibly easy. Connectors are in very convenient locations especially with the layout of the Lian Li Lancool 216 case. RAM slots and PCIE slots are well fit without feeling unnecessarily tight. The AMD CPU socket is very simple to deal with and there are 0 issues with the provided hardware for installing the CPU cooler.I've heard of some issues with MSI BIOS releases but if you're selective with the version updates and give them time to flesh out the "beta" releases, everything seems to be smooth. Personally I haven't had any issues yet on v170 (not the latest update at the time of writing).Overall very happy with this board.

I've been using MSI motherboards for the past 10 years with no issues and this one is no exception. It has an easy to use BIOS, tons of USB ports, WIFI, and looks great. I'm happy :)

When I put everything into the mobo it would give me an output signal, how ever if I took the gpu out it, it would give me a signal. I would use this to install all the necessary drivers, how ever it would still not detect my gpu when I slotted it into the mobo,I know the gpu isn’t the issue as I’ve tried it on my Freind pc in it works fine.

When windows 11 start, it will install the driver and software automatically from MSI.That software will install you a spyware that is called Norton 360 for Gamers. You cannot uninstall that dangerous scammy software. When you try to uninstall it, the window to uninstall it is too small for the content displayed, so you cannot see, nor click on the button to uninstall it.---Avoid this Scam---There are no manuals inside the box.The pdf from their website is great if not suited for reading on a iPhone. The videos that explain how to install and do everything related to this board are well made.Flashing the Bios was easy. The packaging was total crap, it is just the board inside a box, no padding. On the flip side, the board is well made and feature packed. It runs perfectly on Linux, everything was detected and worked fine out of the box.So on Linux, the experience was just perfect.Once Norton is installed by MSI without your consent, you have to format your HD and reinstall Windows.MSI, you horrible company, you made me waste 1 day of reinstalling everything.
