Good construction and fit my Telecaster well. Makes the sounds from hitting the wrong string virtually disappear by deadening the sound of strings not being pressed down onto a fret. You can actually slide it up and over the nut while playing too, so it's virtually not there. No need to remove it.

Long as you look at the sizing chart in regard to your particular instrument, gruv gear always delivers with their fretwraps!

Like, just works, what else could you expect? Also, not sure where you would need a large or even a medium one, I have a small, and it works fine both for a travel guitar (that is like the smallest electric guitar neck you could get) (actually, would be even better if it would be smaller), and for a 5-string bass (like, proper jazz one, the widest neck you could get)

Does a decent job muting guitar strings. Easy to use and well worth it.

tl;dr: Gently removes overtones, subtle, not a sledgehammer fix.Order, arrived, no issues, on time. Let's get real, if you have a sock and an elastic band, you can DIY this. But you also now have a sock on your guitar... So caveat emptor. If you're expecting zero noise, a physical replacement for a noise gate, this wont do it. Strum the parts of your string over the nut, that high pitched ringing (the overtones) is what this is aiming to kill. You can put it anywhere too (ie for specific applications in recording). Example: Particularly troubling tapping solo to record? Mute on the 12th fret. Tap it out. It's a tool, it's not a magic wand. If you're here because the instrument is too noisy to be controlled, this wont fix it. If you're getting weird "extra" stuff in your recordings, this can help. One note, if you have a autoclamp guitar hanger (hercules etc), you'll have to remove it before hanging the guitar. It gets in the way otherwise.
