Used on a fixer upper that some of the strings (A & D) were playing sharp on the 1st - 2nd and 3rd frets. The wires I used worked very nice, but be patient. These are more delicate then a file. The guitar plays very good now. I would recommend these.

This is a very low quality product and it's not useful for slotting nuts. The files are extremely flimsy and barely remove any material. The only useful thing these seem to do is smoothing nut slots that are already filed to the correct depth.

Fragile. Easier to widen nut slots using a larger round wound string. Not suitable for nut creation.

The files do work however they are very fine and dull fast. If a lot of material has to be removed it can take a very long time to file down. Good for cleaning, and fine adjustments not good for cutting slots deeper

They are not going to cut a new nut. Great for clean up. And widen up a slot.
