this is a tool you can use every day or have it with you for certain occasions. I use it at my work . for a basic setup this be more then enough.

At first I thought, ok the tools are qiet flimsy, and it's expensive, but now I set up the guitar also when I change strings, because it goes fast and easy , and I find the extra money is worth it.

You can buy cheap luthier gear over here and there, but there's only one true trustable luthier company.. music nomad! Sturdiness & Precision. They have a video for everything in this packaging.

Expensive but worth it. Quality parts and the enclosed booklet is very useful. I have used cheaper tools to setup my FGN without the precision of these tools. Will last a lifetime.

Although it is a bit expensive, I understand all the work put into it, so some diy'er like me doesn't scratch their head to much to have their guitar playable, at home.The tools and videos make the setup work very easy, and with a bit of practice, I save some buck for more complex setup in the shop.Sturdy, easy to read, nice instruction booklet, and bonus videos essential.

There are so many techniques and tactics and tools for guitar set up, some very expensive, some that require a lot of skill. I was looking for something that did the thinking for me as I was shaping my own guitar nuts for the first time.There is a great step by step book that explains how to, and in what order, to use the tools. Instead of 100 feeler gauges we have the ones you need clearly marked so you use the right ones. You just trust their expertise built into the tools themselves. So happy I got this set
