Not too bad a guitar stand. It was easy enough to put together and came with the necessary tool. (You only need the one) When I say it was easy to put together, it really was, but there are a lot of parts, so it took a while. It did have accurate, easy to follow instructions. Every part had a number sticker, so clean-up took some time to peel them all off.On the positive side, it can hold a lot of guitars depending on how many acoustics and thin-bodies you have. You can count on four acoustics or five electrics on the "inside" racks plus two additional hanging from the sides. The side racks are the only ones that will work for a bass because most are too long too fit under the shelf. They would also work for mandolins and fiddles.I have another four-guitar rack that holds them at an angle which I think is more aesthetic looking, a bit safer because there is more weight leaning backward. This rack is quite tall and has a heavy wooden shelf on top. The shelf looks good and is useful for laying music stuff, (books, tuners, picks, etcetera.) but it does lend to the top-heaviness of the rack.It seems stable enough and unless someone bumps into it, it'll like stand there safely. It has a very sturdy design being made mostly of metal and wood. None-the-less, I'm going place in a corner to make it a lesser target for the clumsy and curious, ie: the cats.)

Great stand for guitars, not tall enough for bass guitars

This guitar stand was easy to assemble and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. You could assemble everything with the included allen key but it was much faster with an electric screwdriver. At first, I was impressed by the solid aluminum beams and heavy weight of the box. However, after I assembled it, it came out much smaller and lighter than I expected. I guess the pictures in the listing were accurate. You can't store guitars in all of the slots if you have any tremolo arms or hollow guitars. It's also too short vertically to store a bass, so you are limited to two basses on the outside hangers. The hangers do leave enough room to keep a standard dreadnought on the outside, but the inside spots are so narrow that you can't keep many acoustics inside. This works if you strictly have really thin guitars, but that's unrealistic for most people who own enough guitars to fill a rack like this. What bothers me the most is how narrow and top-heavy the whole thing is, which makes it wobbly. They include hardware to anchor it to the wall with a strap, but it's not as stable as an L bracket and merely serves as insurance rather than structural support. It does get less wobbly once you load it with guitars, but it's still very nerve wracking. My other guitar stand which costs half of what this one does feels way stronger, and has feet that point outward, which basically makes it impossible to wobble. There's also no triangulation structure on the neck support comb, so it's just held in place by friction and has the potential to spin downwards. Overall, it just feels really insecure and I don't feel comfortable leaving any valuable guitars on it.
