Obviously, this made-in-china cheapie is not a Pro luthier’s tool, but I can honestly say that it is a dandy fret hammer for its affordable price. It’s a good weight for doing fret work - not too heavy, but neither is it a flyweight. The heads can work their ways loose, so keep an eye on them and re-tighten as necessary. I will probably just put a smidge of lite duty Lock Tite or clear nail polish on the threads to keep the heads snugged on. Over all, I am satisfied and pleased with this fret hammer. The heads WILL NOT damage or dent your frets as long as you dn’t go all Donkey Kong on them.

As far as fret hammers go... well, I'm just gonna say it, as far a s fret hammers go, this one is very fret hammer-ey. Really hammers a fret, just like you'd want it to. It can handle all of your fret hammering requirements with aplomb.
