The key fob works but their programming procedure did not work for me. I had one original key and was following the programming procedure they recommended. Apparently my car( Chevy Trax 2017) needs two programed keys to be programed with the simple procedure they provide and their chat support was not helpful at all. I have to do a bit of research before I come across another programming instructions which finally worked. I basically have to follow new key programming procedure. I have to turn the keys to on position(did not need to start the engine) and wait for 10min util the key error sign disappears from the dashboard. Repeate this 3 times in a row. On the forth round the key was programmed.Additional the FCC ID of the key fob on the product page did not match what I received and this added a lot to my confusion.

I ordered this key for our 2016 Buick encore, not a push start car though, and went to the locksmith, they cut it for me, told me how to program it and I was like, it can't be that easy, yup! Definitely will be ordering another one of these. Great Deal!

Good part: the car recognized it quickly and easily. Put my wife's key in and turned the car on, turned it off and put the new one in and started again.Bad part: Lowes would not cut the key, said to take it to the dealer, most places wouldn't be able to cut it.Fob came with a card directing you to remotesremotes.com for programming instructions. I could not get to them at the website. Instead a chat box pops up asking for order numbers. After giving them the Amazon order number, they claimed they couldn't find it and wanted more information.I searched for Keyless2go for instructions which only led me to Amazon where there are no instructions.Instead of cutting the key I removed the small pin holding the key blades in the remotes and put my old cut blade in the new remote. Replacing the pin can be very tricky. I dropped it on the floor and had trouble finding it.

Ordered this to replace the shell around a functioning but broken key. It was obviously well put together, but nearly impossible to pull apart and didn't come with any disassembly instructions. I even checked under the decorative button where the automaker's badge would go to see if there was a screw that I had missed (there IS a screw under the button, but it was obscured by a black sticker which did not come up with the button; this sticker was virtually invisible.) Long story short, I had to force it open and wound up breaking it.I had to ordered another and am not expecting any problems, but beware of the hidden screw!

Cheap fix to broken fob box. Guy on YouTube shows how to put old key in. So no need to pay for key cut. Works perfect.

This keyless remote replacement works perfectly as described and if you closely follow the installation video, you should be able to master the job after a few trials. My biggest issue was removing the electronic keyboard from the original GMC remote, it took persistence and a Dremel tool with a cutoff wheel to remove the main cover. If you have this issue, take your time with the Dremel tool. Well worth the money and time to DIY vs. getting a replacement from the dealership.

10/10 would recommend. My key for my car was started having issues so I ordered this hoping for a miracle, because $250 to get one made is outrageous. Got it in the mail and took it to the chevy dealer. They charged like $30 to cut it. They kept saying that aftermarket keys don't cut well and they can't guarantee anything. But when they were done they told me that they had no issues whatsoever and it was super easy. Took it out to my car and followed the directions that came with the key. Within 30 seconds I had it running with the new key. Under $50 for a new key. Great price and super easy to do yourself. If you are looking for a key this is the one.

Got the item delivered in 5 days. Went to a Chevy dealer in Guelph to cut a blade. Initially was asked 25 CAD but then finally paid only 5 CAD. Inserted original key into Chevy Spark and turned to the position just before ignition and removed it. Inserted this product with cut blade and full turned the key and got this key to self-program. Dealer were asking for 150 CAD ... Glad it worked for my 2017 Spark LT. No special tools required except for blade cutting! Thanks to the seller
