I've had two crack randomly. Order again and trying a second attempt.Update: second order fobs have also cracked where the case won't stay closed and the buttons will not work. Terrible product.

Original key fob shell was cracked and worn out. Electronics fit in the replacement shell snugly, snapped closed, and works perfect.

My original factory fob was sadly overused and I desperately needed a new one because the buttons barely worked. When I first popped the board out of the old one and put it in the new case I wasn't sure if it would fit properly as it was a bit snug fitting. With a bit of firm pressure it closed up securely with no issues.Then the test....it was like angels singing in the background as I tried the buttons. It worked perfectly. I didn't have to mash the buttons until it responded, it worked instantly so I know there is a good contact on the inside. I'll admit I had my doubts getting aftermarket stuff to replace factory OEM stuff, but in this case, I am totally happy with this product.I own a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ so I know it works for my model if anyone else is curious.To top it off, I get a spare case if ever needed.

I bought this item to replace my after market Key Fob Shell that was showing its age. I was able to transfer circuit board and battery to the new key fog shell easily. The only problem i have found is that the painted symbols on the rubber buttons tend to wear off quickly. I would recommend buying a 2 pack so you have an extra shell available when you cant see the symbols any longer on the first shell.
