This was a bad purchase, but it will suffice. It came with the soldering tip cleaner and sponge, neither of which will fit into the pictured recesses, the sponge is pathetic. Gooseneck will not hold position and the LED magnifying glass easily pulls off the gooseneck (pictured hanging by its wires). Base is not weighted nor does it have rubber feet so, it may skid around on you. Be prepared to use thread-locker (i.e. Loctite) and/or nuts on the machine screws that hold things in place as the baseplate threads are minimal and slightly loose; in addition, I used some extra washers above and below the mounting for the soldering iron holder and with careful tightening of the machine screw and additional nut, I am able to rotate it about to my liking as to not interfere with the position of the right hand alligator clip. The LED on the magnifying glass does have a two level brightness switch, just wish it was a bit brighter. If you want to adjust the location of the 1inch 4x mag lens, you'll have to back off the four small screws that holds the white LED lens ring in place.

Three things were wrong with it. 1) only four lights working out of the 16. Luckily this was just a bad solder connection and easily fixed. 2) the light high and low settings were connected backwards. Again easily fixed by switching the connection. 3) the flex head for the magnifier was installed backwards. Was easily fixed by flipping it 180 deg. It is now working as intended. Magnifier is clear, LEDs are bright.

Nice and weighty. Overall it's very good. Although I didn't receive the solder flux that was supposed to come with it, and the box looked like it has been previously used. Hmm? other than that it works!

I like the set up i got what i was looking for yes the light was backwards but as you see on the picture i set it up normal with 2 screws and a flip around with no hastle only part i was a bit bumed out id one of the leds are yellow instead of white no biggie tho i still recommend this product !

La lumière éclaire plutôt bien, la loupe est médiocre mais ça reste correct.Les pinces ont de la force (qualité de fabrication moyenne ) manque une protection.

Very handy. Recommend 4 rechargable AAA batteries for the light. Makes it handy if you need to move around to different areas.

This is a wonderful complement to my workshop where I work on vintage radios that other electronica components. I really appreciate the extra lighting and the extra ability to use batteries or actual AC. I really like the extra arm that helps how deep and I like the overall process where it is silently way to town and it will tip over as other types of magnify glass and other technical Workstation but if I glass help her but she does. This one is very well-made and I really appreciate all the versatility that it offers. It is truly a step above from my other bag if I could ask workstation.
