What's not to like ? It's not expensive and does exactly what it should. It doesn't take up a lot of space. It holds my brand new guitar in style and it doesn't wobble. It's so easy to put together that there are no instructions on how to do so. It doesn't need any. It takes 30 seconds. I like the bottom part that holds the base of the guitar. It swivels from side to side to adjust to the way a guitar is made when you set it on it. Simple but brilliant. There's padding where it counts so nothing will get scratched or scuffed and the top part has a rubber strap that secures the top part of the guitar. I have no idea why someone would want more from a guitar stand.

I have these around my house and they work well. I have used them on a few gigs but not sure how long they would last with a lot of travel.

It's a fine stand. Personally, I haven't found anything negative to say about it.It was basically already assembled when I received it, I just had to put in the base part.It can be compacted down for travel, though the head part doesn't fold in like others I've had.The little safety lock thing does the job if you need it for some reason. I have no use for it.It is made well and the foam works well to protect my guitars.Delivered on time and packaged well.

Very nice stand. Reasonably robust for an overall common flimsy design. Easy to assemble, and of good quality. Not expensive. Does the jobCould it be better? Well, yes, there are more elaborate, well-balanced and designed ones - but for waaay more money. So, I am quite happy with this purchase - and would buy again if needed

Since there is some discussion in the reviews that includes people that believe they are getting knock-off in recent orders (and I don't doubt for a minute that they are common on Amazon) I wanted to jot this down as soon as I got it (17 Apr 2022).Quality looks good. Steel is pretty thick, end caps are secure, padding is good, and the rubber retainer strap is secure. With my bass on it, and me pushing it around a bit, it gives the stability you would expect. I'm pretty sure this is authentic. It's a dine stand for 15 bucks in my book.

This is my review for the XCG4 Guitar Stand w/ Security Strap. So far I have bought three of these and all of them have worked as intended with acoustic, electric and bass guitars.PROS+ The padding is sufficient for protecting your guitar.I haven't noticed any issues with scuffing or scratching on the bottom of any of my guitars to this point.+ Setup and design is simple but effective.+ Knob in the back which allows for height adjustment is useful.Of course you'll want to adjust this according to the height of your guitar, for added safety.+ Safety band works as intended.This has stopped my cat from knocking my guitar over on more than one occasion. Unfortunately I forgot to do it up once which led to a pretty nice dent in the floor.CONS- Sturdiness.Not sturdy enough to protect your guitar from anything bigger than a cat. And if you have a rambunctious cat probably not that guy either. Avoid storing your guitars like this if you have large pets or young kids.OVERALLAt the time of purchase, these guitar stands were only $9.99. At that price, I think they are a great value. As another reviewer mentioned though, I wouldn't pay much more for one them, and I would definitely avoid them if you have young children or pets larger than cats.
