As you can see from the photos of the item, it's a cheaply made stand. I realized that when I purchased it due to the cheap price. When it arrived, I didn't actually think it would hold up the instrument, but it does and quite securely too. It's small too, so doesn't take up much room. Got what I was hoping for. I wouldn't buy it for a really heavy instrument though.
