Overall pretty decent for the price! One pair of scissors is lame but the other is sharp and good! The buzzer is perfect and not too loud so it doesn’t scare the dog. I wouldn’t use this for a business but if you groom your own dog at home I think it’s a good buy.

it stopped working within 3 months, and the seller says to contact the manufacturer who is unknown to me. If you buy this do not expect any after sales support form the seller. They are simply useless.

Pros:- not very noisy- clippers got through curly haired Shih tzu- metal comb and nail clippers work well- different guards so can adjust length of coat- wireless and rechargeable- seller included deshedding glove - I have used it for my lab- got one of my shih tzus trimmed in approximately 1 hour and saved $80 CDN grooming bill so the set has already saved me time and money. I haven’t used it on my other shih tzu because she was just groomed so will try in 4 weeks.- tip: if it’s your first time using them with your dog or puppy, I saw a video of a groomer turning on clipper and running the bottom of the clippers through the dogs back, legs and face to get them used to the vibration and noise. He even let me do the top of his head. This really helped - added 5 mins at the beginnng of the trim but saved me a lot of time calming/struggling with my dog.Cons:- metal part got warm halfway through grooming so I let it cool. I’ve watched videos of professional groomers that have the removable piece but I’m not there. Just keep touching it to check temperature- guards are plastic and a little flimsy. Good for now but may need to replace in future- hair will get stuck between the blade and the guard - remove it periodically to prevent jamming and overheating- scissors are not sharp enough. Will try to sharpen it myself - if not then may need to invest in a better set.OVERALL: I’m glad I bought it - the clipper set and grooming arm can pay for itself in 1-2 grooms depending on how many dogs you have. Watched a lot of videos on YouTube (Rover’s and My Favourite Groomer) to learn some tips. Do this before you try to do it yourself. If you have a puppy, bring them for puppy bath/trim a couple times when they are 8-12 weeks to get used to the process.

The product was exactly as described. Came with clear instructions with how to charge it for the first time to make sure you get the best use of the battery. Battery lasts a very long time on one charge - this was our first time trimming our cat on our own, as to not stress him too much we let him wander and move in the room we were in during the hair cut. Due to this it ended up taking 3 hours to cut his hair (because of us not the shaver). The shaver was just as strong at minute one as it was at hour 3. GREAT battery life.We were also able to manoeuvre the shaver very easily to get everywhere we needed to on the cat as he moved around to different spots. The noise was on the quieter side for a shaver and did not seem to stress or bother our cat.Can not speak to how close to the skin the shaver gets as we did use a guard comb, wanted to trim our cats hair instead of completely shave him.The scissors and comb that came with the kid felt high quality (although we are definitely not professionals so can not say for sure). The brush to clean out the shaver is also perfect!Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an electric shaver for their pets

Update: 4 yrs later this clipper is still running on its first charge from 2021! I have fully shaved our cat several times, regularly clip paw fur, behind fur on the dog, ect....now if I can just find the charge cord, after 4yrs can't recall where I put it! Lol definetly would buy again!Received these today. Our cat becane matted and we were searching for something affordable that would be easy to use and work well. We had bought $80 Wahl clippers before and they did nothing!These clippers worked really well, although a few matts it moved slower through and had to make a few passes to get it out, but this was not difficult to do.They arent loud they do make a buzzing sound but it is a very tolerable level.I was able to shave her body within about 30 min total time. I to stop a few times as our cat was needing a break. She would get a bit ansy if I didn't so I let her, and she cane back on her own. As though she just needed a moment to figure oyt this seened scary but felt great after the matts were gone.We left her face fur, leg fur, and tail intact.It was quite hillarious when the dog seen her he litterally "scooby doo talked" sounded like he was saying "what you do to my cat!? She looks psychotic!" LmaoLove these clippers, they also came with 2 prs of scissors, nail clippers, a metal dog come, instructions, oil, charging cord, clipper.I used it straight out of the box without chsrging it. And it was still going when I was done.Great clippers, at a great price.I have a long haired Hymalayan, they worked great on!Thank you!Update July 3rd 2024. Charged this thing once and its still running 3 yrs later on that same charge! Still cuts like new! Deginetly reccomend this pet trimmer!
