Easily clamps on my oar locks. They do rotate fore and aft, but not much. For what I need, these are perfect. Rod holder mounts without having to drill more holes in my gunwales. My only complaint is that they should have more teeth for finer rotation adjustment.

Product came as said but the size of the bolt was never mentioned and due to this the bolt the holder came with turned out to be to short. Luckily the bolt it came with could easily be taken out and replace by a longer bolt.

Wish I had found this before, works perfect for my small fiberglass boat, would recommend this for anyone using a small boat, great for time share cottage use or if you own a small boat, takes 5 seconds to put it on and 5 seconds to take it off, holds strong while installed

Creative solution to my problem - after mounting the downrigger bracket, I just can't stomach drilling more holes in the hull of my new aluminum boat. Scotty products all seem to be good quality and this one is no exception.
