I bought this item back in January and just open the box to us it for the first time , it came on for 5 mins and then shut back off, and would not come back on

Out of the box, it's a bit lighter than expected- internal components are simple but lots of room for ventilationIn operation, it works fairly well- heats up quick and the handle is easy to hold. I'd love for a little grip in the handle to make it a bit better for tedious workThe included tips are fine, a bit of discoloration and minor warping in the larger ones after some use but nothing impending useThe tweasers are excellent though- very fine making it easy to get in tight spacesOverall, for the price, it's good for most household tasks or simple repairs. For me, fixing the board on my fridge and an old phone needing a charger repair were simple enough!

Works better than an iron and direct contact, multiple nibs for direct to wider area airflow, heats fast.I mean.. what's more to say? If you are shopping for this type of tool you obviously know what you are doing. Chip removal is vastly better with a heat gun and here you are! on a great heat gun page. They tossed in sweet super sharp long metal tweezers both straight and curved as well - THAT I enjoyed thank you!I give this station for the small cost of sixty bucks a great stamp of five! It's good for what it does and IMO worth picking one up as the larger cost three times as much for not much difference in utility honestly.If it dies out or something happens I'll update accordingly

Didn’t work properly. Heat not stable. Returned and bought Aoyue 968a perfect !, yes it 3 times the price but well worth it!

Used this to heat up the solder on a circuit board instead of using a soldering stick and I liked how easy and clean it heated up the circuits for chip removal. Worked great.

Heats up quickley, even at max temp, 30 seconds or so. Was able to remove several components from a circuit board that would have been impossible with an iron. Anything with multiple pins, it is almost a requirement to have a hot air station. I guess you could go with soldering wick, but this does it without eating consumables. Comes with a solder sucker, that I have yet to utilize. The heating element and fan are in the hand held portion. The box is just the controls. Not to heavy and does not get hot while using. Different size nozzles are a plus for when you need to concentrate the heat.
