Just the convenience of this is great. Years ago, good luck finding parts for your guitar. Now, you can get kits like this delivered to your door.

I have at least a dozen assortment kits like this. The items are okay, but the plastic boxes are single-use. They seem to be fastened but warped by some heat-shrink process. Once you open the box, it will never close again. Buy your own sorting box before opening this junk or plan on pouring the entire kit into a paper bag.

For the price, you get what you pay for. The dividers don't keep the screws sorted during shipping, they're all a mess upon arrival. That' just the beginning...The screws are very poor quality. I had a couple of them break of the head while the body of the screw remained in the wood of the guitar. This forced me to drill them out and fill the hole before trying again. I was not even using power tools, just a hand-held screwdriver.I will not be purchasing this again, I will pay a little more for quality next time.

For the price, you can't go wrong with this. Wood screws don't have to be obscenely high quality, and these are- good enough. The strap locs aren't the best, but you get 2 of 2 kinds in this kit. You also get-the springs that go under strat tremsThe mini screws that you need to put backplates back on l ..and probably lost a few of...The neck screws in case you just chew out the heads on your og neck screws. The tiny screws that hold your tuners in place (the cause of tuning issues on a lot of beater guitars)Anyone with over 4-5 electric guitars should have assorted screws like these, and a bag of electrical 'stuff' eg cloth wire, adj soldering gun, assorted caps, bag of assorted pots, and ONE decent fret file +asst sandpaper. These things are all you need to do basically any mod to a guitar, without paying someone else the $150 that these tools cost, to do that work for you.

As an electric guitar builder myself I appreciate the variety and quality of this assortment. It's nice to have this available for my work. The quality seems to be at least as good as those I've purchased from well known guitar parts supply sources. So far I've purchased 2 of these assortments and have no complaints

Not putting these to replace worn out pickguard screws. The metal has a yellow tint to it.
