looking for a heavy duty soldering pencil/iron to do stained glass hobby stuff. this meets the needs very well, the ability to change the tips is a very good feature. variable power settings will make sure it is hot enough to do teh job as needed

It's a versatile soldering iron with variable heat control. It came with only one tip. For the price I would have expected to receive a few selection of different size tips.

The stand and wet wipe sponge all in one place makes the job sooo much easier and convenient for the iron. A little spendy in my opinion compared to what it cost in 2002, but better price than stain glass sites.

Without a doubt, this is the iron to purchase if you are looking for a soldering iron to use in stained glass. I have tried 5 other iron and they couldn't hold a candle to this one, Highly recomment.
