This is the second hot air station I have purchased as the first company shipped with a broken heater. This one has been rock solid since I bought it. The iron seems very accurate and heats up quickly. The hot air reflow station gets hot quick and allows a lot of adjustment for temp and air speed. I will update this review if I have any issues, I assume the heater core will die eventually as expected, but so far it has been great.

This looks like an amazing station for the price point, but unfortunately it is made very poorly. The transformer in the station is connected by two very small screws on the bottom. This leaves the transformer extremely loose/wobbly. The connection for the hot air gun is live all the time even when the switch is in the off position. This caused me to get a very surprising shock. Some additional notes that don't direct reflect the product itself. It looks like the product I was sent had been used before. Some of the smaller accessories were missing from my package.I ended up returning my unit the same day due to the quality not meeting the price.

I got this as the first unit failed(different model) and I'm so happy I got this one I love it. Sure they could have used just a bit thicker wire so the tiny wires inside could have been just a bit bigger cause just like ALL the solder/rework stations this one if the end by the plug is flexed or bent to hard like how they pack them in the box the couple of strands of wire that is inside break and make it post an OP on the screen which means OPEN PORT(open power) and won't power up the tool that connected

I would not say that this station is bad, approximately the same as any other Chinese soldering station.Soldering iron is the worst part. Chinese clone of A1322 heating element (nichrome wire in ceramic, thermocouple sensor) which is far worse than A1321(film heater with thermoresistor) (to my experience).Solder iron tips seem to be made of steel (see pictures). Hot air gun works well, however to my feeling air flow might be stronger.

Heats up fast and works well. Unit came with solder and a bag containing all the different tips, 2 sets of tweezers, and a spare heating element for each tool. Well constructed with 3 hot air memory settings. Requies a phillips screwdriver to attach the hot air bracket

The Txinlei 110V soldering station kit is an all-in-one kit you get you started. It comes with a few types of tips and extra heater cores that will probably last an average Joe quite some time. At $95.99, this is cheaper than name brands out there. Adjustable temperature is fantastic so you don't burn any boards or cause any unwanted damages while doing re-work or simply during product assembly. Overall, this is a decent soldering system that works well and can get you started with your projects. Hot air gun uses is typically for the advanced, soldering/de-soldering chips on boards but can be used for heatshrinks.

Disclaimer: I received this product for free through the Vine program. You get a lot of value for under $60 with this TXINLEI soldering station. Eight years ago, I paid about the same price for a soldering station and this package comes with everything that station had plus an additional hot air pencil, extra tips for both the iron and the pencil, a roll of solder, and spare heating elements for both the iron and the pencil. Additionally, the power supply/control box is nicer and has buttons to store settings for the hot air pencil as well as a USB power supply port. At this price point, the maker has obviously had to cut corners somewhere and you will find that economy in the plastic construction of the solder iron stand, the light weight of the iron and the tips, the slight crookedness of the air nozzles, and the lack of accuracy in temperature control. The soldering iron has the same 5 pin DIN connector as my other soldering station and the extra tips fit both irons as well. The iron feels a bit lighter and less substantial than my previous iron. The tips are also a gram or two lighter. The stand for the iron is made of plastic rather than metal, which was a bit disconcerting, but no hot metal parts of the iron touch the stand when in use and nothing melted during my use. The digital control dial allows you to set a Celsius temperature from 200 to 480 degrees in increments of 1 degree, but it takes a lot of spins of the dial to go all the way from lowest to highest values. One the temperature is set, the display shows the sensor quickly climbs to the set value, but the tip of the iron doesn't get hot quite as quickly, typically taking 30-60 more seconds to heat up completely. The soldering iron works well. I replaced some bad capacitors from a motherboard, and everything went smoothly even with the lead-free solder of the MB.The hot air pencil works in a similar fashion with the dial setting the temperature from 100 to 480℃ and, by pressing the dial to change modes, setting the air flow from levels 1-10. Three memory buttons allow you to save settings for the hot air pencil. I found that, once again, the temperature sensor quickly comes up to the set temperature, but the actual temperature of the air coming out of the nozzle and the nozzle itself take longer to rise and their temperatures are cooler than what the sensor would indicate. Using a thermocouple, the air temperature was typically 25-50 degrees cooler than the set temperature. If you need an exact air temperature, I recommend testing the temperature of the hot air rather than relying on the digital control of the power supply. The power supply also has a USB-A port on the back which is powered as soon as the device is plugged in, regardless of the setting of the on/off switch by the power cord. At first, I thought the USB port was not going to be particularly useful, but it turns out to be the perfect place to plug in a USB powered magnifying lamp that goes with my circuit board holder. The manual is very brief and is just one sheet. It describes basic use but does not explain how to use the calibration screws on the front face nor the meaning of the LED indicators on the front. However, use of the soldering station is otherwise self-explanatory.Overall, this is a nice package at an excellent price for hobbyist use. A professional repair shop would not be satisfied with its build quality or temperature accuracy, but it is perfect for the occasional tinkerer and circuit builder.

Two problems, the soldering iron does not work and the box does not contain a ceramic heating element for the soldering iron as in the photos. The hot air gun works well and the station looks good.In short, very disappointed.Deux problèmes, le fer à souder ne fonctionne pas et la boîte ne contient pas d’élément chauffant en céramique pour le fer à souder comme sur les photos. Le gun a air chaud lui fonctionne bien et la station a bel apparence.Bref, très déçu.

The unit works. The hot air gun is pretty good, the iron is meh.Display is nice, easy to read. When it arrived, a large mass was rattling in the case, something was loose. I guess the smart thing to do is to return it, but ok, I'll open it up:And yes, the transformer was loose. Not properly fastened to the floor of the case. I fixed that (after cutting myself on sharp pieces inside.)Next... the iron wont stay in the holder. It turns out they shipped me a broken holder. See the picture. I guess I can live with that.PRO:* display is nice.* heats up quickly.* easy controls.* auto off heat-gun via magnet works well.CON:* Came with loose transformer.* Came with broken iron holder.* No square nozzle for air gun, only round ones.If you want zero hassle, I recommend skipping this one. If you don't mind some troubleshooting, the tool works reasonably well, and has good controls.
