This is a really sturdy stand and great for it's price. Although it was easy to assemble, you are going to need to pre-drill the existing holes because they are not deep enough. If your using a screw driver, you would have to apply a lot of pressure to actually screw it it ('p' screws)

Stand is nice, I really like it. I've added a shelf on it and panel on front to hide the canister filter. I'm thinking about buying another, so that tells you something.. Just wanted to add a review sense there are none. I've been disappointed in so many things lately I got on amazon. Not this, buy it. Holds a lot of weight, sturdy , looks nice. soft closing doors no damage on mine I received. Its really 5 stars cause its just what I needed and is perfect, but I dont read 5 star reviews. ( And its hard to give 5 stars to any product anyway) (4 is 5 for me lol) If I had to complain Id say the bottom side panels fit a bit weird but that's being nit picky and its fine.. I might post a pic later. Peace!!

This was an OK purchase- three major flaws I want to note1) i just wanted to put this out there because it was lack of information or misinformation around what the bottom part can hold in terms of a “20 gallon tank”. I was not able to fit a long 20 gallon tank and a 20 gallon tall tank fit but didnt provide enough working room - about 2-4 inches is tough when you have lighting and trying to fill it. A little disappointed that we had to settle w a 10 gallon at the bottom but its fine otherwise for that purpose.2) the wood warps when it gets wet! the top piece was exposed to water due to regular maintenance and it was not sealed and a brand new tank stand is now having a warped board at the top. So disappointing3) We leveled the stand using the adjustable screw pegs below and about two days in, it collapsed causing the tank to shake and water all over the floor. Luckily it didnt break…either way we ended up w shims to compensate for unsafe designIf i could do it again definitely would not have gotten this stand. design was a good idea but too many major flaws in my opinion

Please excuse the fingerprints - I'm very happy with this setup! Tried doing a female betta sorority (research this heavily btw and be prepared for another plan), had to separate a few of the ladies who don't get along. I have two 10 gallons on it currently, and has enough room on the bottom to remove the lid and do some standard maintenance. I can actually slide the bottom tank out a little bit to add water etc. Get a lid you can remove though. Nice storage and I will likely end up putting my 29 gallon on the top.I looked at a TON of stands, if you want one where you can actually have room to work on the bottom tank and need a versatile shelf that can fit in many places and will support a few tank sizes, this is for you! It's about 31 inches across. I expect gravel vacuuming to be a pain, but I'm planning on heavily planting this anyway so shouldn't be a big deal :]
