While this is a different colour than my original switch (mine was brass and this is more brushed nickel), it's not something you notice unless you're looking for it. The installation was pretty straight forward. Use a small jeweler's screwdriver to release the wires from the existing switch and press them into the corresponding slot on the new switch. I did mine one at a time to avoid confusion. It probably took me less than 30 minutes.

product arrived on time, matched the item advertised online, and worked as advertised. Easy to install and no wire cutting, wire stripping, electrical tape, or wire nuts required. Only tool needed to install is a screwdriver.

Easy enough. It can be a little tricky opening. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because one or two of the copper contacts would shift out of place when placing wires. Good value since you basically get two for the price of one. Its nice to have a spare handy.

One of my fans had been broken for over 6 years because I thought I needed to replace the whole fan. Then I pulled the chain out of my other fan so I ordered these and they were so simple to install and now they are both working.
